Preparing for the day

They all sit around the table, and today Alicia takes the lead. “So, once the interview is released, we will likely be inundated with requests from the media to meet with Mike.”

Damon nods. “Mike, we will leave it up to you what you would prefer. Either we can do a big press conference, which will likely be a bit crazy, or we can invite a select few reporters to speak with you here. Unfortunately, not talking with them won’t be an option, as part of our mandate to create this facility is that the press will have access once it’s determined that you aren’t a threat.”

Kyrie grins. “And I think you’ve proved you’re the opposite of that. Right Alicia?”

Alicia laughs, blushing slightly. “Yes…well, that side of things is a little bit private. At least for me.”

Mike smiles. “Don’t worry, I don’t plan on talking about my sex life! But I think some private interviews are best. I’m not ready for the spotlight just yet!”

Liam grins. “You know, there will probably be questions about your sexual habits. We’re very open about that here.”

Kyrie chuckles, leaning forward towards Mike. “You don’t need to answer, but there will be rumors! And probably mostly true, honestly. You’re such a cutie, no one will believe we’re not hitting on you!”

Damon sighs. “Yes, there will be questions about that, but one of us will be there to keep things mostly on track. Even if some of the reporters have reputations for being…crude.”

Mike looks at him curiously, and Alicia laughs, placing a hand on Mike’s arm. “There’s a couple reporters with similar attitudes to mine out there, and they’ll leap at the chance to meet you.”

Mike nods. “I see. I’m going to be quite popular, aren’t I!”

Kyrie grins. “Very much so! That’s why I’m dragging you to my place tonight!”

Alicia laughs. “Gotta get in there early, right?”

Liam smiles, nodding. “Of course!”
