Prepare for a crash landing...

You pull back on the controls to slow your descent; however, it is not nearly enough. You feel a punch as flames start to build around your craft. You try to head towards the light side of the planet, so at least you will have light after you crash, aided by your sister who activates the auxiliary thrusters. Then the thought hits you, and you start to worry that the surface is uninhabitable; that would be a shit way to go...

"Brace for re-entry," you shout.

The craft then hits a much denser atmosphere than Earth lurching your spacecraft backward and decelerating faster than you anticipated. Your vision starts to tunnel out; however, you fight the urge to pass out and just barely manage to stay awake. As you enter the lower atmosphere, you see a green, lush earth-like landscape. Thank god you might live through this ordeal, and your mind races; maybe the other ships made it you think; you can perhaps find fellow colonists after all.

The last thing you see before blacking out is the tops of the very earth-like trees.
