Back at the squad room I finish my paperwork, looking up a the clock, 6:30 PM. Putting my head into my hands, closing my eyes wondering how long is the polite amount of time to stay somewhere you didn't want to be? Hearing the door open and someone comes in I look up, Caroline with a evening dress over her left shoulder.

"What are you doing just sitting there, you should be in the shower already!"

"Why I don't want to go!" Looking her right in the eyes "Are you sure you don't want to take my place?"

"My uncle asked for you specifically to represent us not me!" Although I could see the envy in her eyes

"But as you said, I'm more McDonalds than Cresto Lays!" Finally getting up out of my chair "What if I screw this up!"

Look Carly, I had no right to say what I did the other day, I was jealous!" Taking the evening dress off her shoulder and handing it to me "Here my way to say I have confidence that you'll be the 'star of the soiree'" A stunning Royal blue, Swarovski crystal studded dress in my size . then "A word of advice, order Beef Wellington and baby vegetables, consider it a fancy hamburger!" Taking the dress and making my way to the showers with a bit more confidence than before.

Showering the dressing in the dress I been given, I make my return to the squad room. Opening the door I see Caroline sitting shaking her head, closing the door and getting my first glimpse of Captain Cartier in a tuxedo. So debonair, more head shaking as he hold out a corsage for me "My Officer Graspper you look gorgeous definitely more than I deserve to be seen in public with" That's when Thereaux comes in

"You can say that again sir! Getting a dirty look from Cartier and me.

"My dear shall we be off?" hold his bent arm out to me

"Yes we should!" waving to Thereaux and Caroline!
