What do you do?
Pray to your deity (1 week downtime)
You spend a week in the temple, attempting to get closer to your chosen deity, praying at their statue for eight hours a day for a week. You beseech the heavens, hoping for some form of advice or response. Old Man Antonio comes to check on you several times during the week, making sure you get food and water.
What's next?
- You feel you have fallen too far from your deity's graces for this to be effective
- Your deity is still angry with you, but their anger is lessened slightly
- You have fallen fall from your deity, and it will take a long time to return to their graces via this
- You have yet a ways to go before your relationship is mended
- You feel that your beseeching significantly eases your deity's mere mild disappointment
- Though you haven't done much to earn either favor or ire, your deity significantly appreciates your prostrations
- Your deity appreciates your supplications
- While your deity appreciates you, they attempt to push you back into the world
- Your prayers succeed in gaining favor, but not much, and you worry that too much time spent here will cause you to miss important events
- Your prayers have only marginal impact, you don't feel like this is the most effective way of gaining favor
- You feel you are too close to your deity for this to be effective, and they would vastly prefer if you actually put their teachings into practice
