That you would not have to fight but that when you do, victory will be granted to you, be it in ambush or conflict or war. By the time you finish, evening is upon you.{elseif Demetpray = true}You pray to the statue. Why you, an adventurer, would pray to the statue of the goddess of the harvest, you're not sure. Maybe you're a good person and simply want the farmers to have good yield; after all, a single crop failure in much of the world can cause mass starvation. Well, not here, here has fish. Although fish does get awfully tiresome after a winter of not eating more than just fish and whatever scarce food imports there are. Come to think of it, neither does the Empire as far as mass starvation. Sure, whenever there's a crop failure some people starve but the typical internal response is a massive internal food importation operation, they're a little famous by now. Tack, salted meat, salted fish, fruit preserves; basically whatever won't spoil during the long journey. Not that that would be overly necessary though, since the Empire's vast distribution system basically means that hardly anyone needs to rely on the government food in the first place. Must be good to rule the world, you guess. You guess only the northern kingdoms really deal with crop failures, although it wouldn't be any of their major cities - they're all coastal. Fish is love, fish is life you guess.

Or perhaps you're trying to pray for good supply of food that you find on your journeys. If you wanted to do that, you should probably pray to her daughter, Persephone, instead.{elseif Pam spray = true}You pray for the rest of the day at the statue, hoping for safe travel and calm encounters. Or perhaps there's a different reason for your prayer, not covered by Pan's typical domain.{elseif Aphropray = true}You pray at the statue for various things, only you can know about, probably connected to Aphrodite's powers although you wouldn't be the first to pray to her for her body.{elseif Artepray = true}You kneel before the statue out of respect and beseech Lady Artemis for aid in your hunting, and protection in the wilderness. You spend the rest of your day attempting to sway her ear.{elseif Apollpray = true}You pray to Apollo, that his music might inspire song in your heart. That his knowledge might inspire you in your learning. That he might watch over your health. You continue going through the many things that the Lord of Light is responsible for, not stopping until the sun sets.{elseif Athenpray = true}You pray at the statue, hoping for wisdom in your battles; enough to overcome them regardless of your opponent. You spend the rest of the day seeking out the wisdom of the goddess, and find that it drifts to more than just your battles.{elseif Herapray = true}You pray to Hera for healthy faithful relationships, even though you're not sure that she's the one to seek advice on the matter from. By the time you finish mulling over your prayers, evening is upon you.{elseif Zeuspray = true}You pray to the king of Olympus, Zeus. Only the heavens know what your prayers contain, as they could contain any number of things. Whether or not the great one actually heard your pleas only time will tell.{elseif Odinpray = true}You pray to the Allfather, hoping that he hears your pleas and grants you some of that knowledge he has sequestered away. As you continue long into the evening, you notice a raven fly away as you're getting ready to leave.{elseif Friggpray = true}You pray to Frigga, hoping for her blessing over your children{if Male = false} and any pregnancies you have or will have in the future{endif}. You continue praying until dusk comes, departing for your room.{elseif Thorpray = true}You pray to Thor, singing his praises for his dedication to protecting your fellow {if Odin = true}knowing beings{elseif Wizard = true}sapients{else}people{endif}. You ask him for the courage to stand up for others in his model, and for the strength to succeed in doing so without putting yourself at risk in addition to the one you attempted to protect. You continue praising and beseeching until sundown, at which point you have to leave to come back another day.{elseif Baldepray = true}You pray to the Lord of Light, praising his beauty on until the night falls.{elseif Freyrpray = true}You pray to Freyr, praying that he might grant abundant growth.{elseif Freyapray = true}You pray to Freya, exalting her beauty and hoping to sway her to bring you to join the numbers of those Asgardians who did not refuse. By the time you lift your head, you realize sundown is already upon you as you hurry to your room for the night.{elseif Njordpray = true}You pray to Njord, hoping for any upcoming sea journeys you take to be safe and storm-free.{elseif Heimdpray = true}You pray at the statue of Heimdall. Though you know not what he guards, it seems important, and he is clearly worthy of your reverence. You spend until evening comes at his statue, revering his honor.{elseif Lokipray = true}You pray to the great trickster, seeking that your days might be fun and you might be able to enjoy yourself, even if at the expense of others, especially if their humility is on the line.{elseif Helpray = true}You pray to Hel, that she might spare you when your time comes - that you might not die of plague or pestilence.
