Praise, Cresto Lays and Dazed

"Thereaux here your honor!" a few moments of silence then "Well thank you sir but since that happened there has been another arrest by Officer Graspper!" A long silence this time greets us then. "Of course sir I'll past along your message, good day to you sir!" Putting the receiver back into the cradle. "Well that was Mayor Collins with his congratulations for us for getting the squad up and running so fast and mainly for you Officer Graspper and in his words 'Your outstanding dedication to his vision of this project!"

Thereaux is standing there with a wide smile on his face as he continues "Oh and Officer you have been picked out to represent our little unit at this Saturday night's Mayor's community soiree at Cresto Lays on Bolvarier Drive. Dress uniform is required, date optional!" going over to the desk he claimed as his . looking down to the flat calendar then "Well Saturday I just scheduled you and me to work the shift, Will that give you enough time to get home shower and get a date?" Winking at me, inside I bring up a little bile thinking about going somewhere ultra fancy with his aas my date. Swallowing fast I rush over to the water cooler for a drink to clean the taste out of my mouth.

Caroline pats me on the back "Man Uncle Tom must have been really impressed with your work!" Pouting a bit "When i join his staff and saves him some money on operating cost he took me to McDonalds for chicken nuggets!" Then out of the blue "Say have you ever been to Cresto Lays before?" Moving closer to me I mean it's kind of known as a fou-fou chee-chee kind of place if you get my meaning" Taking my hand and spelling it out for me clearly "I men it's not the kind of place you have ever ate in before, real upper class kind of establishment not your kind of street level dive hangout.

"Ghee Caroline why not just come out and say it to Carly!" Darren coming beside me "the kind of place that would consider you trailer park trash Carly!" That was kind of how I thought she was politely saying it but hearing Darren say the words out loud stunned me worst than being groped on my last arrest. Is that how she sees me in her mind street trash. Looking to her

"I didn't say that! I..." Then she turns and runs out of the office as fast as her tight skirt and chubby legs allow! Both Darren and I are speechless by her action, both needing a few minutes to compose our thoughts

"I better go find her and apologize for my mouth?" Darren says only to be halted by my words

"No I'll go find her and settle this thing between her and me once and for all!
