Ladies Room

Rushing out a few seconds later i find an empty hallway. One way leads to the door leading to the stairs, the other way leads to the washrooms. Playing a hunch I start for the bathroom, opening and listening before entering. There in the far back i hear "Stupid, just stupid Caroline!"

"Mind explaining why you feel that way?"

"No hablo inglés!" then silence. Moving down the line, all but one door is open. Standing in front of it I give it a swift kick "Hey this one is occupied!"

"Yeah by someone who is stupid!" Coming face to face "Now care to tell me just why you're so stupid?"

"I treated you like I was treated by my Cousin when I started working in his campaign office!"

My jaw dropped to the floor "You mean your cousin, the mayor groped your ass!" The look on Caroline's face told me I got it wrong!

"What no he treated me like a no-brain female who needed to be spoon feed to stay alive!" getting up off the bowl "I groped you because I'm bisexual and your ultra hot in those clothes!"

Now I'm the one who wants to run out. I never even considered that I was anything to females dressed like I was. Oh man if my dad finds out, he'll demand that I ask for a transfer or outright quit!

Caroline continues her explanation "Carly all I wanted to do was be there when you needed to talk or to be reassured you're doing the right thing!" Moving from the stall going to the sinks "To protect you from the lecherous Thereaux and the higher up like him!" Turning the water on ,splashing a handful onto her face. "But when i saw you in those clothes I melted inside and I wanted to smother you with affection until you returned it to me!"

"Look may I call you Caroline?" Waiting for a reply or a nod of her head which i eventually get "I'm flattered by I don't swing that way, although I did need someone to talk to about him groping me and I don't think it's Thereaux's forte!"

Caroline dries her face "Oh! anytime you need to talk, I'm there for you!"

"That's great!" Relieved that she left it at that "So can we go back to the squad room and Thereaux?"

Extending my hand to her, she takes it and we return united with an attitude that we're going to bust every pedophile we come across
