Policies about Vampirism

I ask about the rules about being a vampire.

Galicia replies. “Of course. Vampires have been a part of this school for centuries, and have been a part of Humanity for Millenia. At this school we have three major rules: Feeding, Turning and Etiquette. Feeding is a major part of Vampires, offering them salvation and health. Most vampires feed for food, entertainment or strength. Others do it for power. Turning is a custom attributed to birthed vampires and their first-turns. Since you are a Birthed, you can turn BUT only with one turning every decade. This is a part of Vampirism for so long. You can turn students here but only once, so choose wisely. Finally Etiquette. Vampires are apex predators and have limits, controversially. No killing, no massacring humans and other monsters and be smart. Sadly most students don’t follow the rules and we fail to catch them. We fear they will rebel and occupy the school and possibly the city. If this happens, we have a Vampire friend who owns a club downtown who recently woke up.”

I thank Galicia and head off to my room. The girls are escorted to the sick ward to recover.
