Petulance has its consequences

Jessica awakens to being roughly yanked out of bed as a gag is placed in her mouth. She groggily opens her eyes, and sees Jade and Catherine. They quickly flip her onto her stomach, quickly binding her ankles and her hands behind her back. Jessica struggles, screaming into her gag, but the vampiresses restraining her are too strong. Does Elizabeth know what they are doing? Jessica thinks frantically. Jade slaps Jessica's naked breast, and Jessica winces from the sting. "Relax" Jade says, "this won't be for much longer." Catherine puts a hood over Jessica's head as she laughs.

Jade and Catherine carry Jessica out of the room and down the stairs. Jessica wants to do something, anything but is helpless. As she is carried through the mansion, the events of the past months replay in her head: Turning. Feeding. Killing. Spurning Elizabeth. Hunting with Sally. Turning Charlotte. Sally's return.

Jessica feels cool air on her skin, and is thrown to the ground. The dirt. The hood is pulled from her head, and she finds herself in the courtyard of the mansion. She can smell the damp earth beneath her. Catherine roughly pulls her into a kneeling position. She looks up to see Elizabeth smiling cruelly down at her. It is still quite dark, but there is a definite lightening of the sky to the east.

So this is it Jessica thinks, bitterly. Oh, Sally....why?

Jade and Catherine disappear back into the house, returning with a bound and gagged Charlotte, who is unceremoniously dumped into the dirt next to Jessica. Another vampiress that Jessica doesn't recognize enters the courtyard next. She is tall and black, with thick curly hair and incredible facial structure. She holding a chain in her fist. Nicole and Lauren follow her on their hands and knees, nude and collared. Jessica sees the terror plastered on their faces. Their collars are fixed to the chain held by the black vampiress.

"Elizabeth, we found these two cows with Charlotte" the black vampiress begins, "what shall we do with them?"

"Drain them, Savannah" Elizabeth says coldly. "We aren't bringing back any souvenirs."

The vampiress, apparently named Savannah, yanks the captive humans to their feet as Charlotte screams into her gag, tears wetting her cheeks. Savannah bends to bite into Nicole's large breast.
Nicole screams, held rigidly in place by Savannah's strong arms, as Savannah gulps her life. Meanwhile, Jade and Catherine grab Lauren. Jade bites Lauren's shoulder from behind, roughly holding her breasts, as Catherine sinks her fangs into Lauren's wrist.

The only sounds in the quiet courtyard are the vampiresses greedy gulping sounds as they exsanguinate the human women, and Catherine's distraught but muffled shrieks. Jessica is horrified, but the scent of human blood on the cool night air forces her fangs to descend reflexively. They smell so good. The vampiresses drop the lifeless corpses to the damp grass. Blood drips from their chins, onto their chests, staining their clothes.

"Jessica... Surely you didn't think your disobedience would go unpunished?" Elizabeth says sinisterly. "I gave you the gift of gifts, and you spat in my face."

I'd do it again and again Jessica thinks, hoping her face conveys her defiance to Elizabeth.

"Bring me my granddaughter" Elizabeth says. Jade and Savannah lift Charlotte, forcing her to kneel before Elizabeth. Elizabeth runs knuckles softly against Charlotte's cheek. "I'm sorry child. Under different circumstances, I would have liked to get to know you" Elizabeth says, drawing a small thin sword from the folds of her dress. "Jessica, watch as I end your bloodline" Elizabeth says. Behind Jessica, Jade roughly holds Jessica's head facing forward. Elizabeth grabs a fistful of Charlotte's hair and in one clean slash separates Charlotte's head from her body.

No! Charlotte!!. Jessica screams into her gag, as Charlotte's headless body slumps to the side, her head hanging from Elizabeth's fist.

"Unfortunately, your end won't be nearly as merciful, child" Elizabeth says. She walks over, bending to kiss Jessica on the forehead, before walking back into the mansion wordlessly. Jade and Savannah grab Jessica and tightly bind her to the fountain in the middle of the courtyard. Jessica cries as the vampiresses retreat back into the house, just as the first rays of sunlight begin to peek over the roof of the house.
