Chapter 8 by Ai-R Ai-R

What's next?

Penrose's Perspective (Sitting - Spread Legs)

[AN: This is a series of blurbs written from Professor Penrose's perspective, as if the video was happening in realtime instead of frozen. Do note that in the continuity being actively modified, time is actually frozen.]

I sigh as I slide into my chair. A day of classes done and now I'm spending my prep day on a videocall with students that probably aren't even paying attention. Doesn't the board know how hard it is to maintain order remotely? At least there's a system in place now to flag speaking priority so we're not all talking at once.

Who's online now? Bob, Paul, James, Susan, Linda... That's not many. I'm missing seven. Geeze, the class is already a third the size of my real Cultural Communications class, and now over half of my students are missing...

Well, whatever. It's their money they're wasting. Taking a moment to think of some cute cats and funny incidents from times gone by, I plaster a polite smile on my face and join the call.

'Ba-ding.' I glance to the _si_de-- up at my camera to make sure it's on and recording. Excellent, it is. Can they see under? No? Good. The point is to excite, not reveal. Shifting my hips and spreading my legs just a bit further I turn my attention back to the monitor and keyboard for a moment and hum in contentment.

Honestly, it really is nice to just... relax, like this. I'd never be able to get away with this in a physical classroom - the students would definitely see, after all - but so much is permissible online that you can't do in person.

Continue perspective, or return to the Prompt?
