Right after you said this, you realized that maybe this was one big mistake that you made there. After all, you are speaking to a god there, and being disrepectful was probably not a good idea for you. When Zeromus sighed, you felt worry suddenly get a grasp on your insides, afraid that what you said would be your **** sentence. Yet, his answer was far more relaxed than you would have thought.

"You are right." Zeromus said. "You should have peace, because it will not last much longer. For now at least, I can guarantee you that I will protect you from pretty much anything, so that you can prepare yourself for what is to come."

You would have answered something, if Atsura did not snap his fingers, which in turn made Zeromus, Shirayuki, Permafrost and the two hooded figures disappear, leaving behind a shadowy shape of themselves, which disappeared soon after, only leaving Atsura to face all of you.

"Before leaving, I want to give you one warning : you shouldn't use the magic Zeromus gave you, since it has to be used with other kinds of magic." Said Atsura pretty suddenly, taking you slightly aback. "You will find out soon enough its effects, and you will understand what I meant at this moment."

This time, you did not try to answer him before he disappeared, finally leaving you and the five girls alone. The first thing you did after Atsura left was sit down on the very couch he and Zeromus were sitting on before. You would have thought about what happened here, yet you chose to say playfully.

"None of you were so eager to fight when you knew we were dealing with a god."

You knew that this wasn't the best way to lighten up the mood, but Allit had a better way to do so. She got in front of you, looking at you dead in the eyes with a disgruntled expression, despite her voice dripping with worry.

"You won't ever try to scare me like that, Master, or I'll zap you with my lightning !"

Afterwards, she only sat on your knees, arms crossed and pouting. Her acting like this strangely felt very funny to all of you, and even the Ladies weren't able to contain a giggle, while Rei, Douma and you laughed. Your two friends then came up to you, to sit on each side of you, the both of them leaning on your shoulder with an happy expression, before Rei calmly said.

"We all are so glad that you decided to stay, Adam. Even if we know this choice was hard for you to do. Now we're by your side, and we'll accompany you to the end of your journey."
