Overwatch

Hana (D.va) and Lena (Tracer) were relieved to finally have a moment to relax. The Overwatch anniversary party only came around once a year but it was always a fun time.

The two had both sought out a quiet place away from the party for a bit, Hana wasn't much of a party girl to begin with and Lena agreed to follow her friend to wherever she was going so they could talk amongst themselves.

"How've you been feeling lately Lena? I know you came to me feeling a bit under the weather a couple days ago" Hana said a little concerned, Lena was known to overwork herself.

"I've been better, thanks love. I think it was just exhaustion. But thankfully everything with Talon seems to be winding down for the time being, and this party always gives us a chance to wind down ourselves." Lena responded.

Hana was about to respond as well when they both heard a knock at the door.

It was Wuyang, Juno, and Brigitte, and Brigitte was holding a package.

"Hey you two! Hate to interrupt but someone left this package for you Lena!" Said Wuyang in his usual friendly tone.

"A package? I didn't think I ordered anything?" Lena said confused.

"Ah who knows, probably one of those scams where a company sends you free products to get you to advertise them" Brigitte chimed in.

"Ah, Ms. Lindholm is correct! One time one of these corporations sent me their shirt just so they could try to get me to wear it on TV!" Juno said.

"And of course you fell for it" Wuyang quipped.

"Hey! It was an extraordinarily fluffy item of clothing!" Juno said cutely trying to defend her decision.

Tracer at first hesitated, but decided to open it, bracing herself to act fast in case it was an explosive, Overwatch got enough threats already (whether from Talon or from lone wolf anti-Overwatch agitators) so she had to be ready just in case. But it wasn't?

Lena opened the package to find a.... board game? Called "Chicken Out". Lena didn't wanna admit it but she was a bit of a board game nerd, and she had never heard of this one before. Maybe Brigitte was right and it was some company sending her a free product for testing or advertising?

"Ooooo a board game? I'm down for an impromptu game night if you guys are!" Hana said excitedly.

"I don't know you guys, don't you think it's a bit suspicious?" Lena tried to be a (perhaps too paranoid) voice of reason, before Wuyang chimed in again.

"Lena c'mon! We already spend too much time worrying at this job! And now we're worrying about a board game? Let's relax and have some fun!" Wuyang replied.

Brigitte, Juno, and Hana all nodded in agreement.

Lena conceded, maybe she was being paranoid. After all, how bad could a board game really get?...
