Overture

Marcia and Natsu seemed like decent people. They shouldn't be taken away on the whims of some stronger guild that Katrina knew nothing about. Marcia and Natsu had also protected her from the demon. At the same time, the demon was being controlled by the amazons and hadn't done anything wrong either.

It was decided, Katrina would join Overture. She stood with Marcia, Natsu and the demon.

"Sorry, Sophia" said Katrina, "but they've done nothing wrong"

Katrina walked off with Marcia, Natsu and the demon. They arrived at their hideout. Inside was another guild member, Thomas Franklin.

As well as they're leader, Jude Summers.

Natsu ran over and hugged Jude.

"This is my dad, Jude, he's the leader of Overture"

"You got a girlfriend?" asked Jude, "she's definitely cute"

"We just met" said Natsu.

Kat awkwardly waved to Jude.

"Hi, I have a vagina so you don't need to worry about me getting your daughter pregnant"

Not the best way to introduce yourself.

"Her name wouldn't happen to be Katrina Lanus, would it?" Jude asked, "redheaded catgirl, the princess' personal plaything. Its pretty obvious. Okay, the rules are simple. Don't tell anyone where we're located, don't **** anyone and we don't partake in slavery"

"That's all?" asked Katrina.

"Overture's a pretty loose bunch"

"Where are the others?"

"Its just us three, well five, now that you're here. Six, if that demon becomes a member"

"What can you tell me about the Order"

"They're definitely a problem. Unfortunately, they've kept the continent save for the past 1400 years so wiping them out will cause more problems than its solves"

"So how powerful is this country?"

"Not very, there's simply too much infighting between kingdoms like Camelot and Amazonia. King Lincoln Walker almost united the kingdoms of Briteros a century ago but he was assassinated. Even if they did unite, there's still ten nations far stronger like Grome, Ezio, Scarim, the Crimson Union and the 3rd High Asuran Empire. Most of those nations exist within the same continent"

"Any quests you'd got for me?"

"Not at this time but something tells me you've never been in a fight before. You should do some practice fighting dryads tomorrow. Natsu will take you"

"Hey, take this" said Marcia, handing them a crystal.

"What's it for?" asked Katrina.

"Oh, I invented it" said Thomas, "it allows Marcia to absorb the dead"

"In case you run into any ghosts" said Marcia.

"Why can't you hunt them?"

"I don't do well in sunlight"

"Marcia is a vampire" said Natsu.
