Where does he wake up?
Outside the tavern
Aching and exhausted, Robert woke to a pouch of coin landing on his gut, making him grunt with exhausted pain.
Groaning, he sat up and caught the pouch as it tipped off him. Why was he shirtless? Why was he on the street? Was he just mistaken for a beggar?
Shaking the thoughts away, he looked around with blurry eyes, searching for his shirt, and anything else that might explain his current situation.
He found no shirt, but he did discover that he was just outside The Tipsy Maiden. Where he had drank himself stupid. After proclaiming he would beat The Darkness. Because he got it in his head he would get laid that way.
Fucking hell.
Gathering himself onto his feet, he ducked into the tavern, finding it empty save the barkeep.
"Did I leave a shirt round here?" He asked with a raspy voice.
"Not so. You had it on when you stumbled out the door. A belt too." The man responded, glancing over as he kept wiping tables.
Robert frowned, just now realizing his belt was missing as well. He stepped back outside. If he remembered correctly, he swore to depart today. If he had any hope of laying with a single women in the town, he'd best not go back on his words.
What should he do from here?
