Our wonderfull Magical Girl Bart.

Getting to work, I consider my options as I answer emails. Luckily, with PR Management and a few of my other skills, it seems to be as easy as it can be. Eventually, Alicia speaks up with: "How about we have a conversation about what we need to know for our meeting in 2 hours, as well as an early lunch?"

A new daily quest notification appears. I check it. 'Make a colleague laugh.' Cool works over lunch. "Sure, let's do that."

We sit down to have our conversation she is tense. While both of us were getting a lay of the land, she mentioned that Dandilion was surprisingly interested in a for them 9 o'clock meeting in the evening. Evening person, probably. After that, I get lunch and load, but don't enter the video call already on the screen.

"So you have you heard that there was a person dressed as a magical girl who tried to stop the monster car?" She nods." Well, if I say 'Time to save another day!' I transform into that person." I say as I transform. She starts laughing like an idiot. I repeat the phrase and return. "Nice to see how it is so funny. You wanted updates on the app that is the largest, together with some of the perks getting upgraded and getting some 'magical girl' specific ones. I am also afraid the car incident happened because of me."

She looks surprised: "This is weird, you couldn't do anything to it. The car was taunting you the entire way. Do you think you can defeat it at all? Do you need help?"

"As long as I can hit it, I assume I can. I asked a buddy for a ride. But having a second ride might be necessary. Soooo.... if you can help us out tonight, please do." She agrees.

Seeing as it is getting close to our appointment time, I enter the meeting and see three people there. Alicia introduces us, followed by a person dressed in a suit with long hair and make-up that makes their face look round and cutesy, introducing themselves as Dandilion and their colleagues Shamous and Pete. Shamous is a curly redheaded freckled lanky dude. Pete looks like he would m'lady you if he had the chance.

They go over their follow-up questions first. They ignore half of what Alicia said, and I decide to simply repeat with "like my colleague just told you [insert whatever Alicia had said]." I let this pattern repeat for 30 minutes, making a mark each time I do it. By the end, I have 5 marks, which is a lot given that the explanations are often minutes long. 3 belonging to Shamous and 2 belonging to Pete. Before we end the Q&A section of the conversation. I decide to ask a question using all of my blunt Dutch Autistic privilege. "So I have been keeping track of how often I repeated Alicia. Any guesses?" The three at the other side turn pale but remain quiet. "Five times in thirty minutes.... I think it isn't going to be a productive conversation if we need to repeat answers. Especially, if it is because you will not listen to my female colleague." I think I might hear a pin drop. It is that quiet. "Dandilion what is your opinion?"

I **** them to answer. But the stun continues as everyone looks at me like I shot their mom, committed a grave taboo. But, unable to put it into words. "You are correct, we should LISTEN better to the answers you give." Annoyance at the call out of shit behaviour I had given. "Now, shall we discuss how many we will need to do our tests?" I nod, look at Alicia, who joins me. We negotiate numbers and prices and get a number way higher than we expected to get. Good sales bonus ahoy. But the entire conversation took 2 hours, and they must have been tired.

We sent them the proposals and hope to see them confirmed and signed in our inboxes tomorrow morning. We had worked through lunch and called it an early day as a result. Still worked 8 hours nonetheless. Not that our boss checks that we could work from home, and he would be fine with it.

Pieter has sent me texts, but they will not be important. The level up from my daily quests, however. Means I can grab a low spell point spell, but I can't find any. With my points, I can't get anything useful for now. Alicia and I talk a bit before Pieter arrives about interests and this magical girl stuff. How I feel about it, etc. And the answer is emasculated much like the email stuff. She is grateful for standing up for her, however. No help rewards prock, or is it expected as a colleague?
