I arrive early and find out a few things. One, he missed my text. Two, he had told Alicia about the app and the magical girl in the room. Not that I seriously mind, she might be a fun extra. As Bart goes to order pizza, I go to the toilet. Not because I need to, but to add Alicia. What class to give her? Should she fit the theme? Should she not? Maybe wait a bit? Yeah, wait a bit. Bart got his class at level 6; maybe it's best to wait. Also, so I can get to know what suits her. For a quest?

Wait what? Is she not interested in him? Maybe this is more platonic than I thought. Fuck I don't want to give her random shit, but forcing them together more is also not what I am interested in. The follow-up quest seems most interesting. Least likely to screw me over.

I go back as she is shouting in surprise that she also got the app. Bart is explaining things as I enter. I ask what they are talking about. They explain as best they can. Bart shows me his perks and the two quests he has. Wait, that second one is not one I have given, none of those spells I gave him, and some of those perks as well. I try to hide my shock and fail. "Wait, the QuestMaster is a real entity and not just some algorithm, or am I mimisinterpretinghe reward?" I try to save myself, both of them had realised how important that detail was and were shocked. They had missed it. Then this might have been the best save. "Would you be able to share the info even if you got it, if you got it from a quest?" Another realisation has hit the duo.

"But we can share this?" Bart replies.

"Does it reveal anything other than the existence of a QuestMaster?"

"Nooooo...."

"So did it reveal info about the QuestMaster? How do you receive communications from them?"

"Yes, their existence! And as for communications by giving us quests like this, 'You have received the following quest from the QuestMaster: [insert quest here]', unless you change it in settings to remove the mention.... wait, we could have asked ourselves if it was a person because settings allows us to use a nickname or a greyed out option." Good to know they also have settings. And that this realisation is always an option for targets.

During the discussion, the pizza comes. Alicia looks guilty at Bart and shoves a piece of pizza into his face. I grab a piece and eat it whilst I let them be awkward. "Do you need me to feed you aswell Bart?" I ask in jest.

"Might make me less uncomfortable with it, to be honest. I am only doing it because of the quest."

I shove pizza in Bart's face. "Come on, pretty pink, eat your pizzaslises." I continue teasing. "Why is this awkward?" I look with my widest grin.

"Simple, I am not into men."

"Neither am I, should this be romantic. Teasing him while feeding him is fun."

His face changes. "You are right, why would this need to be romantic. Yeah, pretty pink, eat up." She joined me in the teasing go which alleviated the tension for a bit. "But the quest also said to talk about my feelings with Bart. How can that not be awkward?"

Wait, okay, the perk is the most meh choice here, which is a surprise. Second magical girl is a bit much for now, with so few villains and monsters, if I get it again later. So the choice it is.
