The two of you resume your presumed activities, and the two thugs pass you by; after a few yards, the two of you start tailing them, following them into a back alley.

You steadily trail them, always staying just out of sight, zigging through various alleys and back streets; in time you gradually notice the air getting stickier, and eventually slightly cooler. {if Intelligence > 12}Huh, you suppose that means that you're heading towards the coast right now. {endif}As the two of you continue to tail the two thugs{if Wisdom > 2} unnoticed{endif}, you begin to realize that based on where you are in town, there's a distinct possibility that the girl they're likely still chasing is being corralled - to your left are the seaside cliffs that mark the division between the slums below and the noble district above, and you can begin to hear the waves gently break against the shore.

As you continue to follow, you notice the cliffs roughly 500 feet away, the girl having been corralled against them. The two men grab her roughly by the arms and lift her up, causing the two of you to duck behind a corner as they turn around. Footsteps approaching, you thankfully hear them bypass your location as they continue on, stopping about 60 feet from you; you approach the building separating you and put your ear to the wall.

Knock knock knock. "Password?" "A bird in two hands." You hear a door open, and then all sounds of activity stop entirely after some heavy footsteps and the sound of a door closing. You and Irina leave hiding and see an otherwise mundane door with a set of half-stairs leading to it about 60 feet from you, essentially confirming its location.

At this point, you and Irina could go in together, as it would certainly have certain benefits to have another person with you, or you could opt for the advantage of being inconnu: Irina isn't exactly without recognition in some circles. On the other hand, you have a slight reputation yourself, and given the location in town{if Rogue = true}, the fact that the Guild doesn't even know about this,{endif} and the state of the woman who was just ?re?-captured, you shudder to imagine what would happen to you were you to fail in your mission.
