Open it

Inside the packaging was a small ancient looking device resembling a remote. Four large coloured buttons made up the face of the remote. A red, a blue, a yellow and a green button. To the left of the remote lay a scrunched up piece of paper with neat handwriting. Its contents read: red=rewind, blue=fast forward, yellow=freeze, green=mind control.

Gracie looked at the remote in disbelief. Surely this couldn't do what she thought it could. As an experiment she pressed the yellow button and took a look around. Silence. Pure silence. Gracie looked to the skies and gasped in astonishment when she saw a bird frozen above her head a good 20 feet in the air. It wasn't moving an inch which made Gracie sceptical. What if this remote really did what it said it did?

'The best way to test it out would be to experiment I guess.' Gracie thought. 'Trial and error'.
