Elf archer: I killed the dear and yet I’m sharing it with you. I can share some with the beast kin that lead the goblins we are being paid to kill to us

…. I was so slow…. I bolted upright and quickly spun and jumped back. I looked around the human in armor lifted a great sword threateningly but the elf head her hand up blocking him from me. I backed away a bit. Then the elf tossed a bit of meat towards me. I was so hungry and the meat smelled so good I crept forward keeping my eyes on the human male and cautiously grabbed the meat in my teeth and bashed back to the edge of the woods. Looking at the camp the 5 females were all sitting around the campfire while the male was standing with his weapon raved

Human male: great now he will look at any of the gods races as a easy source of handouts you know it was probably an elf ranger like you giving food to a pore wolf beast kin that started the dread packs no the north lands

The elf gave the human an angry scowl and said and yet the elves have never had problems with the beast kin races causing problems in are lands now have they?

The human male was getting mad fast he exclaimed come on girls you all agree with me

Female wizard: na I trust the rangers judgement

Female barbarian: the way I heard it some noble stole a pup from one of the packs up there and that’s what started the wolf raids

Female cleric: the god of light has healed him and now the god of light has chosen to feed us all it is not are place to question the gods providence

Female assassin: this dear meat is tasty… between you and him your both dogs so you should get along fine with him right mister knight

The man looked crestfallen at the girls reply. The elf tossed another bit of meat out to me I was a little less cautious just keeping my eyes on the man this time but he was busy sulking about being the only sane one in the party to threaten me. I decided to try and say something to them… well I decided to ask for more meat

“Hay can I get a bigger piece?”

Female elf: no it isn’t but it may sense more goblins in the area Anna Lilly check the woods

Female barbarian and assassin jumped up running for the woods saying on it

I don’t think I have ever been so disappointed in a response before to learn that I understood them but they didn’t understand me. A few minutes later the barbarian and the assassin returned and said the didn’t find anything. I whined and the elf tossed another bit of meat I barked excitedly. Looking back it was so humbling… but at the time I didn’t care all I wanted was food

The elf threw me some more meat I had to guess that meant no they didn’t understand me. after a bit more food I chose to hide as best I could close to there camp and get some sleep in the hopes that if more goblins came the adventurers would deal with them after all it wasn’t really my problem if they died they’d be my enemy if they knew I was a half demon. And only fools would help there enemy and I’m no fool. In the morning I’ll figure out what to do…
