Only Time Will Tell

I wake up with three warm bodies an me. I open my eyes and see Myla, Asami and Luna sleeping. Fortunately, to help Myla out, I managed to convince Asami and Luna to wear PJs last night. Asami has ones with cat paws and Lunas has dog paws. I enjoy the feeling of the three before Myla starts to wake up. When she sees me looking at her she blushes a bit before getting a determined look on her face. Suddenly I find my room disappearing and Asami and Luna vanish. I find myself on top of a soft bed. I look up to Myla who is now sitting on me. She's slightly bent forward and her face is about nine inches away. We both remain silent for a moment before she sighs.

"Eric, I want you to tell me everything."

"Myla, we've been over this. If I do you'll have to keep it from your father, and I can tell how much you respect and love him." I say trying to gently push her off me. She grabs my hands and pushes them back down.

"And I love you too! When I saw your eyes I assumed they were a new power. But now I learn it's from a Goddess, and you say there's more. Liz even sounded WORRIED! She's never worried! Look Eric, I love my dad, and I know that if you tell me I'll have to hide it from him. But I don't care anymore! I love you, I have since we first started studying together. I don't want to sit back and watch when I might be able to help." She looks at me with tears forming at the corners of her eyes. I feel a pain in my heart looking at her. I sigh in defeat and wipe away her tears.

"Your lucky I hate seeing you like this." I say smiling and she laughs. "Okay, you win. I'll tell you everything. But when you regret this I'm gonna say, I told you so." She smiles and rests her head on my chest while I tell her everything. I tell her about my seal, my gramps, and my parents.

"Now I know how you got Liz to be worried." Myla says, jokingly after I finish talking. I chuckle and she looks up at me. "For the record, I don't mind you, well, not being human. And I understand why your hesitant to tell my father. If he knew you had the Flame Devil trapped in your blood, well he'd probably try to use you as bait for the others. But don't worry, he wouldn't hurt you, I think."

"Geez thanks, I feel soooo much safer." I say sarcastically causing her to laugh. I start petting her like I do with Asami and Luna. I see her smile and I keep petting her for a few minutes. "So, do you regret learning this?" She scoffs before answering.

"No way! I may not be able to help you break the seals but I'll never regret trying to help you." I kiss her and thank her.

"Myla, I think I need to go back. I'm sure Asami and Luna are up and wondering where I went." Myla giggles and nods before using her earing to take us back.

"Eric!" I hear Luna say before turning and seeing her jumping onto the bed.

"Hey Luna." I say sitting up and petting her. She smiles and her tails start wagging. "Where's Asami?"

"She went to make breakfast. She said you'd be back soon to get ready for school." Luna answers and I thank her.

"Well, I need to go get ready myself. I'll see you later Eric." Myla says before O kiss her bye. She disappears and I turn back to Luna.

"I'm going to take a shower, tell Asami I'll be right with her." Luna nods and salutes causing me to smile. I enter the shower and cast Augment Body on my limbs and read my new daily quest.

Slay a Devil huh, and an unknown reward. I sigh and accept it. I finish showering and go eat breakfast. Asami made some pancakes with eggs. We eat while talking about my Domains mountain. After eating I leave for school after kissing them bye.
