Chapter 104 by voidcaller17 voidcaller17

Another Day.

More Math

I get to school and see Myla and Hino by the gate.

"Hey Eric, good morning." Myla says, not wanting Hino to know that we were together this morning.

"Good morning Eric." Hino adds.

"Morning girls." I say walking past them to class. Hino stops me before I can get far.

"Hang on Eric!" Hino says, quickly catching up. I turn to face her and she continues, while Myla follows behind her. "So Eric, could we meet up afterschool today? I didn't have time yesterday with all that happened."

"Sure, what are we meeting up about?"

"I'd like to spar with you."

"Could I join? If I'm being honest I'd like to do so as well." Myla asks, slightly raising her hand. Hino nods and starts a group text chat with us before we leave for class. I sit down in class and start thinking of what I want to learn while Meditating today. What spells do I want to learn today? I'd like more mana, Blink is a good spell to dodge and surprise my opponents but the mana cost is too high for me to feel comfortable with consecutive casts. Is their a spell to get more max mana? Passives I guess? So just focus on mana and passives. I set my alarm and close my eyes and start Meditating, while thinking of passives. Once my alarm starts to vibrate I open my eyes and read my notifications.

New Skill: Mana Sense Lvl 1, Passive

Mana Sense allows the user to sense the flow of mana around them. This will allow them to sense any and all attacks or spells made using mana. Many call this skill a water downed version of a Sensors eyes.

New Skill: Circuit Expansion Lvl 1 (MAX), Passive

Circuit Expansion expands the users Magic Circuits. This allows them to store more mana and lets there mana flow faster. The strain this puts on the users body causes them to burn more calories than normal. Gives +100 Max MP and +3 MP regen per minute.

The bell rings and I leave class happy. Both of these skills sound great and more mana is exactly what I wanted. I sit down in my history class and the bell rings. Mr. Fields greets the class and hands out the test from yesterday. I get mine and see I got a 95%, having missed three of the sixty questions.

"Good work, as usual Eric." Mr. Fields says before handing the kid behind me there test. Once he's done he goes back to the front of the class. He starts talking and I tune him out. I start thinking of what to do during my two hour free period. I decode to clear one of my mystery mob Dungeons I made. The bell rings and I leave class. I go back to the bathroom and open up my created Dungeons tab. I see four options, one with Nature Elemental mob and three mystery ones with question marks for the name. I decide to enter one of the unknown Dungeons and get some new materials. I enter it and see the world around me reform. I find myself standing at the base of a mountain with lots of grass and rocks but few trees. I sigh and swap to my armor, weapon and bringing my boots and claws out before climbing. After a minute I hear a roar and turn around. I see a giant lizard running at me. It's covered in red scales and has a blue lighting bolt shaped pattern on its back. I cast Ancient Beastial Strength and pull out my claws and boots and use Observe on it and quickly read it while readying my blade.

Salamander Lvl 12, Class: Beast, Title: Hunter, RP: -250, Hearts: 0, Weak: Water

HP: 500/500 MP: 250/250

I cast Water Blade and send a slash of water flying through the air at it. It hits it right on the shoulder and cuts deep.

-326 Dmg

The Salamander is a few feet away now and opens its mouth. I feel, from Mana Sense, a great amount of mana being used. I cast Blink and appear behind it. I look at where I was and see the Salamander breathing fire, melting the four foot tall stone I was next to. I bring my blade down on its back.

-279 Dmg

Salamander Slain +300 Exp, +236$

Rare Material Drop

I smile and pick up the red scales that dropped. I store them away and think. Why did my water attack not do more. It should've done at least 500. Let me read the description. Hmm, that's why. Water Blade doesn't use 75% of my Strength like my melee does. I sigh and continue walking. I find seven more Salamanders and slay them the same way. By using Water Blade from a distance and finishing them up close. I get 2100 Exp and 1582$ as well as two more rare drops and five common, all materials. I get to the top and see something that nearly make me scream, in a bit of joy but mostly fear. I see a giant wyvern sleeping. It's curled up and it's two wings are laying on the ground. Its tail is limp and nearly in a straight line. It is covered in fiery red scales. I use Observe on the Wyvern.

Phoenix Fire Wyvern Lvl 25, Class: Mythical, Title: Mountain King, RP: -250, Hearts: 0, Weak: Water

HP: 5000/5000 MP: 1500/1500

Should I Fight?
