In Champion City, superheroes are a career choice. Sure, not everyone has powers. In fact, superpowers only exist in 20% of the human population, and some of them can manifest at any time from any trigger. But since superpowers are pretty indiscriminate, not everyone who has them wants to use them for good. Champion City has the highest amount of supervillains of any city in the United States. Thus, it was also home to the Champion Defense ****, the city's official government-sponsored superhero ****. Many of them were celebrities not just in Champion City, but around the world.

In the Corner Bean coffee shop, Felix Devlin sipped at latte, looking through social media on his smartphone implant. The Sidekick **** forum was dedicated to fans of superheroes and Felix found it was a good place to get a feel for what they thought of the Champion Defense ****.
