"Well, Godwyne, you've been the talk of the House," Anastasia says.

With Bertha Beeblossom nearby, your older sister doesn't embarrass you by using her "affectionate" nickname. Anastasia is her usual put-together self, her dark blonde hair in long waves, her House Draconis robes hanging just so across her figure.

She leans closer and whispers, "I hear you saved the Headmistress' life. Well done, little Wyner."

"It was the thing to do," you say. "So, Annie, do you think you can get me out of here? I'm afraid my Nightingale will forget its rider, and the Draconis team won't have a space for me."

She laughs and tosses her head. "Housemistress Bee says you're ambulatory and your balance isn't off," she says. "That's all you should need for that old broom, right?" She cackles at the look on your face. "Just joking, Godwyne! I know how you love to fly. Now buck up, there's someone else to see you."

She raises her wand and makes a come-hither gesture. Along comes your broom, gliding through the Infirmary and taking up station in the corner of your little cell. It already has ribbons of Draconis' green and gold attached where they'd go for a Broom Polo game.

"That should give you good reason to get up and out," Anastasia says.

Housemistress Bertha Beeblossom of Beavertail, the acting Nurse, is pleased to see your speedy recovery. "It's important to have things to look forward to," she says. "Take good care of yourself, young Aberdean," she wishes you as you depart.

But just as you're on your way to your first practice, broom in hand, the Headmistress catches up with you. "Mistress Beeblossom said you were RECOVERED," she says. "Would you be able to ATTEND me, Aberdean?"
