It takes a number of weeks of back and forth, but by the end of term, you have things set up. Golondrina needs a lot of sweet-talking from you and Fay, but having Barbara Torch "supervising" your dates helps a lot to convince her that she doesn't want to leave things the way they are. It's not that you or Lolo or Fay -- especially not Fay -- is shy or shamebound, it's that Leontes' Warden is an unashamed voyeur who sometimes inserts herself in the scenes.

It doesn't stop you, but you're not seeing Golondrina as often as you'd like, nor for as long, nor with the mood you'd like.

Fay gets off on the Warden's attention and even teases her, holding back just enough to not cross Leontes' powerful Warden with her history of addiction to dueling. Before joining Boarbristle, Barbara Torch was addicted to high-stakes underground duels where the victor won the right to sexually dominate the defeated. You try to put it from your mind when you and Fay are with Golondrina, but you read the Warden's secret shame from her soul, and even took the Forbidden Spell SHAMEGASM from her.

You've done your best to avoid Fiammetta Hawk, House Minerval's Tutor, since inflicting SHAMEGASM on her during her corporal punishment session on you, and you think that the Tutor has done her best to avoid you as well. You count yourself lucky that you weren't dismissed from Boarbristle for your impulsive act.

"So you have it all set, Morgan?" Fay asks. "You're really a wizard at all that pulling strings. Maybe you should have been in House Draconis."

"What did I tell you, Fay?" you said. "Fakes. F.A.K.E.S. That's who Draconis is full of. Self-centered phonies who want to pretend they're Doing Something Important."

"They throw good parties though," Fay says. "Mostly. So are we getting Lolo?"

"We are," you say, excitement rising in your voice. "We're getting her starting next term."

"Be still my heart!" Fay says, clutching her hands over her ample chest. She spins round and laughs, then stops facing you. She mouths silently at you, Dragoncunt, and laughs again.

But when you and Fay go to greet Golondrina in House Minerval's Tutor's office -- just about the one reason you'd be happy to see Fiammetta Hawk -- you find she's not alone, nor accompanied by Leontes' Tutor Preston Sharper, nor by her sponsor, the Housemaster...but by the Warden, Barbara Torch.

"Good day, ladies," the Warden says in her resonant voice. "For the next term I'll be helping Miss Redmoor with extra lesson, to make sure she negotiates the transfer well and to nurture her considerable talents. She has shown exceptional promise in a number of areas of magic, and though she is leaving my House, we've all agreed that I am best to take charge of her special studies. And during that time, she will be staying in my room for five days per week, and at Minerval for two."

Fay's face goes from cheerful moon to droopy Kewpie doll. Your own face stiffens. You look at Fiammetta Hawk. Minerval's redheaded Tutor nods along with Barbara Torch, but can't read anything in her face. Barbara Torch, a grin on her dark-skinned face, blathers on a bit.

You clear your throat. You have to say SOMETHING about this arrangement.

Gain +1 XP as you successfully achieve your GOAL. You now have 3 XP.

Choose APPEASE YOUR HANGER-ON or DISCOURAGE YOUR HANGER-ON, then roll +AMBITION(+1) (+2 Ambition, -1 HANGER-ON) to resolve the consequences.
Either:

• Flatter the Warden and try to make the best of it. (APPEASE her). On a success, Barbara Torch will join your next sex date as a full participant. Roll to HAVE SEX if flattering her works out.
• Protest this irregular arrangement (DISCOURAGE her). On a success, she will back off and give you and Fay more time with Golondrina. Remove her as a HANGER-ON and deal with any consequences.
