Of heroes and knights

Mark, Lucy, and Esla stepped out the teleportation circle taking in the city of the elves Slydel. Unlike Myth dale's mix of science and magic Slydel was nature made into a city. One elf stepped into a bush that then walked off. Mark starred around for a moment then he saw the store they were looking for. Before they could cross the street a armored elf stepped in front of the group.

Armored Elf: ( smugly) “ Papers please!”

Lucy: “ What papers?”

Armored Elf swept his long hair over his shoulder “ If a lower species wishes to travel in our great city you must pay a tax. However if one of you ladies would but offer your selves...!”

The Armored Elf's speech stopped as Esla and Lucy walked past him with a sigh. He turned to grab them but Mark stopped him “ I'd like to hear more bout these papers. I think that bush is a great place to “ talk”!

One bloody elf later Mark opened the door to the store to see Lucy being carried by … his mom!?

Lucy: “ Look Mark! They have a 1/1 replica of your mom! It even threatens you if you lift her skirt!”

The shelves were packed with Hero memorabilia, everything from toy weapons to books detailing their adventures. Some kids were playing with fake versions of Mary while yelling “ I'll concur you all!”

Mark ignored them and went to the counter “ Hello can I get some assistance?”

“ Be there in a moment!”

A moment later at the store owner came to greet them “ Hello welcome to Hero warehouse! I'm Lexie would you like a custom order?”

Mark looked at the woman. She was your typical elf; Tall, fair skinned, long grey hair, if not for her tattoo s Mark wouldn't of looked at her twice.

Her skin was a a moving piece of art as her tattoos showed the story of a certain orc woman. Mark tried to ignore it when his naked mother ran across Lexia's face.

Lexia: “ Hello? Can I help you?”

Lucy looked at Mark “ You there big guy?”

Mark: “ I'm.... fine. We came here to talk with you about meeting with the king?”

Lexia: “ How am I suppose to do that!”

Mark pulled out the letter “ I don't know. Mom just said to show you this and ask about a smuggler.”

Lexia took one look at the letter then at Mark then back to the letter “ I …. Have to verify this...”

Esla looked up from reading a book “ Are we sure about this? She seems.... excitable.”

Lucy: “ The crazy ones have the best stuff! Just look at this craftsmanship!”

They waited several minutes foe Lexia to come back, at the ten minute mark the door burst open and Elf knights rush into the store.

Elf Knight Leader: “ For the crime of attacking a officer of the law you are under arrest!”

Lucy jumped from the arms of the golems arms “ Who called the cops!?”

Esla: “ They aren't the cops, more like a roving group of knighted mama boys.”

Elf Knight: “ You dare insult representatives of the consul! You filthy mut!”

The knight drew his sword but was held back by a decorated knight “ I apologize for my comrade's harsh tone. We have been told that someone in this store has attacked a noble.... Is it you?”

Mark: “ Are you talking about that guy who tried to drag my ladies into a alley over some papers.”

The Knight Commander sighed “ Even if what you say is true we must ask you to come with us.

Mark looked at all the knight then handed his sword to Lucy “ I'll be back.”

Lucy: “ Better be!”
