Of course.

The pair crept forward into the dark hallway, Rebecca taking point with her rifle raised. She attached a flashlight to the underside, using it to illuminate their way. Julie followed close behind, her pistol in one hand and a flashlight in the other. Without warning Rebecca stopped and Julie nearly bumped into her. The redhead motioned her to step back and crouched down. At ankle height was a barely visible trip wire, made out of some sticky thread attached to the wall with the rest leading into the open door. Rebecca kept her rifle trained on the door, and took out an empty magazine from her rifle she kept. She dropped it on the thread and it stuck to it good.

Almost immediately the rope was pulled into the room, and then the two heard a furious screeching sound. A giant spider monster burst out of the room, with short stubby legs and a large bulbous abdomen. It's exoskeleton was a deep brown with small grey hairs along the legs, and it was staring at them with eight blood red eyes. The creature's fangs were large, with a strange mouth in between. But Rebecca was ready, and quickly fired a burst of her **** rifle into it's face. The monster let out one last screech and then it curled up dead, it's exoskeleton apparently not tough enough to repel bullets. Rebecca looked back at Julie with a wide smirk on her face. "Get a load of this limp dick."

Julie let out a little giggle, but down the hall she one of the doors open up, and another Pseudospider crawl out. It reared up, curling it's abdomen to fire sticky threads at the distracted soldier. "Look out!" She shouted and lifter her pistol, quickly shooting it. The smaller pistol rounds were not as effective, but it did stun the Pseudospider enough for Rebecca to pivot and gun it down.

"Damn rookie, twice in one day." Rebecca held up her fist, and Julie blushed as she bumped it with hers. The redhead gave her a nod, then turned. "Ok let's not stick around, might be more of them, let's blow this freak show."

The two of them encountered a few more Pseudospiders, but Rebecca's sharp instincts and training helped her avoid their clumsy traps, and all of the monsters attacked alone. After several minutes they arrived at the lobby of the apartment complex on the ground floor. Rebecca peeked outside, seeing no Pseudosects on the street. With time of the essence, the pair moved on, leaving the relative safety of the building for the dangerous streets. Their plan was to take the streets to the rendezvous sight. It was risky, but they did not trust trying to find a way back up. Luckily they had already made decent progress before this setback, and they didn't have to far to travel.
