You sit next to Mazl on the bed, sitting yourself close to her head. She crawls halfway onto you and drapes a paw over your leg and adjusting her wings. You reach down to support her head. "You know Jack? Been a while since anyone asked what I fuckin' want." Mazl starts taking as she cuddles with you. You smartly stay quiet. "But then again, I didn't really know outside of, yanno, being treated right. And then here you come along, knocking on my God damn door."

Mazl strikes the bed. "Making me feel all . Good. Wanted. Listened to. I didn't believe a shit of what you said when you visited me the first time. Or the second. Hell, I agreed to come with you just so I didn't have to die in that fucking shit hole. But Molly talked to me for a long time last night. Said exactly the same thing you told me. And how you're supporting her as a musician and as an actual person, not just some... toy. And now? Now I don't wanna die so much."

"I haven't felt this way in a long, long time. You better not be playing with my feelings, Jack. Or I'll live up to the Manticore mantra and rip your fucking throat out." Mazl says as she finishes, for now.

"Mazl. Let me tell you, I was scared to sponsor you. Not because of your looks, your personality, or even your bonding process." You say as you look at her tail. You want to touch it, but stop short as you rub Mazl's back. "No. I was scared I wouldn't be good enough for you. That I wouldn't be husband material." You say.

Mazl snorts and lets out a hearty laugh that the whole house must hear. "Gwahaha!! You must be shitting me." She says loudly.

You shake your head. "Nope. Ask Molly. We talked for a bit as well about why I wanted to sponsor you. And it's not for pity. You deserve to be around people who accept you and love you for who you are. I don't mind taking my time with you for you to decide if I'm husband material or not. Mazl, I want you to be comfortable. And most importantly I want you to say yes. When you're ready, of course."
