"Will you take this offer?"
Of Course SHE Will.
Jesse relaxed, not so much accepting the rod as she was no longer resisting the offer. "Sounds like fun, so yeah. I'll take it."
The hooded benefactor seemed to smile as they pushed the rod across the remaining distance only to blink in surprise as it shifted and warped from a twig with a stone to a gunmetal grey rod thick as a soda cap with a royal blue orb the size of a gumball clutched at the top with arcane runes etched into the metal just below the claw holding the gem.

"I take it it's not supposed to do that?" Jesse arched an eyebrow as she took her new magic wand.
"Not usually this fast. Typically it takes a few spells to adapt to the flavor of your magic before it changes to your unique form, but to take your form so quickly, I'm guessing means your magic has a greater connection to the rod. Who knows just what that means in the grand scheme of things? This is a first for me."
"Well aren't you glad for something you've never seen in all your years of making disposable spellcasters?" Jesse winked as she tucked the rod deep into her courier bag."
"The novelty is a treat. Now go. You'll never start to amuse me standing around here."
"Here's to hoping I keep things fresh." Jesse laughed as she ducked out the entrance into the sunshine, planning her new strategy.
What is Jesse's next step?
