Nothing ventured, nothing gained

"Well I feel as though I'd be letting myself and Elise down if I backed down from this, besides this is a very nice room, would make a nice break to have a good room for a long while." You reply with confidence as you look straight into Shades's brown eyes. Shade smiles and walks towards the end of the room, where two comfy looking chairs are positioned by one of the big windows looking out into the streets and vast forests below, or at least the impressive trunks and lower hanging canopies of the smaller jungle trees.

"Good to hear, now care to join me?" Shade says as she sinks slowly into one of the large white chairs, followed by the AI orb that floats around her masters head. "Al if you could ready us a holo suite for a high stakes poker game, and also send down a request for my special blends of tea, don't worry about the tea set, regular pot and cups will do." Shade says addressing the AI orb by putting a hand under it and scooping it as she speaks to it.

"At once maam, will you be requiring the special medicinal teas tonight?" A male mechanical voice responds, in a tone more impressive that any AI assistants you've seen before, most have monotone voices which convey no emotional range, whereas this one at least seems to convey the willingness and want to serve.

"Hmmmm maybe, have them bring up my full stocks and that way I can have it if its needed." Shade replies as you see her steal a glance of you and a grin appear on her face, before quickly turning her full gaze back to Al, as it floats up and begins to make mechanical chips and bleeps at a control panel next to the door to the yet unseen but apparently impressive bathroom. The lights dim slightly and a flicker of colors and shapes begin to come to life in a square around the chairs and table, and soon you find yourself sat in a high end casino complete with ambiance sounds, which are noticeable and yet not intrusive. You have seen some neat stuff done with holo projectors, but with the advent of AR becoming cheaper and feeling like the realer experience, holo suites like this are really rare, and frightfully costly.

"Wow this is pretty impressive, to get the holo suite to interface with us and the furniture so well." You say as a holographic female dealer appears to your left and nods, as she makes a show of shuffling an simulated deck of cards.

"Yeah you can do some impressive stuff with holo tech, its a shame that dangerous AR stuff seems to of caught on, although no surprise once that managed to make it interface well enough to allow people to have simulated sex. I prefer this, you still get to see your opponent as they are, not as some avatar of what they wish they were. So are you familiar with the rules of poker Val?" Shade asks as she leans onto the table with both her shoulder resting her heads in her hands as she smiles at you.

"Yeah, didn't have much time to learn it, but Elise taught me the principles about reading your opponent rather than your cards. So where are the chips?" You ask as you look around for the holographic representation of your currency.

"Oh well we need to buy them with our clothes, so its a strip variant with each item of clothes being work 100 in chips, by my reckoning we both have about the same number of clothes to lose each. Although the rule is once an items sold you can't buy it back." Shade says as she lightly bites on one of her long slender fingers as she looks up and down your body. You smile back and loosen your bra from underneath your blouse and wriggle it free, so your blouse is keep your boobs off display for now. "Ooooh such a tease" Shade giggles as she stares at your chest admiring how nicely your boobs are hugged by your blouse.

"Well I'm kinda curious to see what you look with less of your clothes, so sounds good to me, by the way what was that about medicinal teas." You say as you try and divert the conversation, back to the slightly unnerving comment Shade left the AI orb. She giggles as she removes her shoes and places them on the table

"Oh don't worry about that just yet, that's for later if you're up for it. Now lets enjoy a few hands of Poker and get a good look at each other. Well have a 20 chip blind, so no throwing away bad hands now." Shade says with a giggle, as two cards are floated in front of you, a pair of 8's not a bad start you think to yourself. As you throw in twenty chips of your 100, and watch as Shade matches you, and you both watch as the holographic dealer nods and smiles as she waves her hand hand and three cards appear in the river, nothing particularly helpful in this, and a quick glace at Shade, reveals little, you decide to raise another 10 chips, and Shade matches it, and a fourth card comes out, revealing a second king, to match with one in the river, not exactly the best position to be in, but you decide to try and bluff a stronger hand, and raise another 30 chips, to see how Shade reacts. Shade looks at her floating cards then up to you and bites her lip as she thinks for a moment before pushing all her chips back.

"I'll see your raise and go all in." Shade says with a smirk as you try and decipher her calm brown eyes and soft face for a tell of sorts. You thought you saw something but it could be a false tell, but you figure, at this early stage you have nothing to lose by calling the bluff. If you win, then you might have spotted Shades tell, and if she wins, she was giving you a false tell, which you can now ignore, or try and use against her. You move the remainder of your chips into the middle. The dealer nods and deals the final card to reveal another 8, which almost ensure your victory. You smile as your floating cards fall to the table and reveal your full house 8's over kings, but the feeling of victory is crushed as Shade's two cards fall down and reveal two kings.

"Bold play Val, you lucked out with that last 8 though." Shade says with a smile as the chips amass on her side of the table, and you have to remove another item of clothes to continue, you decide to try and see if you can distract Shades attention, and rather than losing your shoes or cargo shorts you opt to take off your blouse, and reveal your impressively perky B cups on display. "Mmmmm very nice, they look so soft, I can't wait to get my hands on them. How about I give you 100 of my chips for a quick fondle of those, they are high up on my list of my favorite features of yours, right beneath that amazing ass, and your super cute face, with your red hair and freckles."
