Nothing Good

When the Futa saw Vanessa, she smiled. It wasn’t a kind smile though. Rather, there was a cruelty in her eyes, and a viciousness behind her grin that scared Vanessa. Perhaps the most ominous part was that the unknown Futa’s cock began further hardening noticeably.

“Well, how about that? I never would’ve thought I could find such a delicious looking Fucktoy in these parts. I think I might keep this one,” the futa spoke in a low but almost malicious tone. The sound was quiet, very much a mumble that had not been meant to be heard. But with her years spent surviving off of her well-honed vigilance, Vanessa had very sharp senses.

And so while the Cultivator began to put on a false smile, and raised her hand to a wave, as if to offer a greeting, Vanessa turned and sprinted into the storm without a second thought.

In an instant, the futa still sitting recognized she had been heard. She got up and began to follow after the explorer, jumping straight over the fire in her path, bare breasts bouncing and swaying with each footfall. But soon she found that catching up to the young explorer might not be as easy as she would’ve thought. Not only did Vanessa have a head start due to having caught the red-haired cultivator by surprise, but she was about as fast a First Stage Resolve Condensation futa just from her extensive physical training. And with the redhead only being a Second Stage Resolve Condensation cultivator who had just recently joined her sect, she didn’t have nearly as much of a speed advantage as one would hope. Not to mention that the rapidly picking up rain made it hard to see where one was going.

On Vanessa’s part, she too was bothered by by the rain. It got in her eyes, it got her wet and cold, something she didn’t have much resistance against with her short clothes to bear with summer heat, and it blocked her vision. But concentrating on every little detail she knew, Vanessa began to adjust each individual foot fall, avoiding even the tiniest root, rock, and patch of uneven ground that might trip her up as she fled off of instinct and memorization alone.

Soon enough, however, the cultivator began to gain ground. In her home territory, there was no doubt that Vanessa could lead any lower level cultivator on a good chase, but the difference between the two just became too apparent as time went on. So Vanessa dig deep and began to think. Where in this forest could she go to block the Futa’s vision or path, and to give her the slip?

There wasn’t anywhere nearby. That was the conclusion Vanessa came to after a minute or so. But maybe 10 minutes North was a small Catgirl Territory that she had found in the past. Maybe she could get the local wildlife and the Futa to get in eachother’s way, or even better, to just completely start fighting each other. Then maybe she’d have room to breathe.

As Vanessa continued running she soon came to a relatively thin but neon gated clearing. She hadn’t given it thought as she had planned her route, but such a thing proved to make a mistake as a couple seconds after entering she heard a whistling sound and immediately shifted to the left. Just in time too, as a stone knife cut through the air right where she had previously stood.

Although she had shifted her position without ever stopping her sprint, Vanessa was immediately faced with a decision, one that had no good answer. The red headed Futa had a good shot at Vanessa with ranged attacks in this clearing, and while she could probably dodge several more of these knives, each dodge slowed her down by a fraction of a second. And while a fraction of a second wasn’t much, she couldn’t afford to lose anymore ground than necessary against a cultivator.

So Vanessa could either go forward and hope she doesn’t lose ground, or exit the clearing from the side, and risk a detour, extending the time that the Futa had to catch up to her before she could put her plan into action.
