Not cleanly

You carefully slip away from the hunters and they are now closely looking over the place. You smile when you hear their yelling as they realize one of them is missing.

However, paranoia has saved you many times before, and you would be a fool to ignore it now. You are reminded on how huntsmen would send in hounds to flush out game.

You leave slowly making sure you are hidden from both where the group is, and any sniper.

Eventually behind a log you throw a loose stone away from you sideways (hidden by the log) and it makes a bush move slightly. While doing this you look out from behind another bush.

There! You see it! Slight movement as if someone shifted to focus on the bush.

You motion to the girls to circle around and get him as you keep him distracted.

Going to the bush you quickly make a dash behind a tree, exposing yourself for half a second. It was too quick for the sniper to react, but they knew where you were. They also knew you suspected that someone was out there.

Eventually you move carefully by climbing the back of the tree and running out from the branches there to jump down to another concealed area.

The sniper had a crossbow and a bolt nearly hit you. The sniper having to reposition themself to make the shot gave away their changed position and before the sniper could move again they get an arrow in them.

Then both you and Jane rushed in, going from cover to cover.

When they got there the sniper was waiting for 2 people, you and the archer. They were not expecting two land based attackers and an archer who was still ready to snipe them.

It was loud and noisy, but the level 11 Huntsman died.

Ding!

Level up, but time to grab the loot and run!
