Not as well as hoped

As you reached your cave, which could be used as a rest and storage point, you looked in.

Suddenly a massive spider came out and tried to attack you.

Jumping back, you swung out on the rope and the spider came to the very edge of the cliff, and was unbalanced. Pulling your pipe from your inventory, you swung the pipe at it, and knocked it off. It fell a distance before it stopped with a splat.

Going back in you looked around.

Webbing everywhere!

You even found some dead adventures that had been cocooned alive. When they respawned they had dropped loot bags there, which the spider had never claimed. You grabbed them and as much webbing as possible. Hmm, it was level 3, so you got 110XP split among your party of three.

Going down some more you had to stop. It wasn’t due to the length of the rope, but because of another reason. Below you on the cliff you could see the bottom. Down there was a massive Treant with tree like monsters. They were fighting some others, but the plant monsters respawned around there while the others did not. That area had been Claimed!

You climb back up the cliff, considering the implications.
