Not Impresed

"It's a little small." Irene says while walking inside. Asami chuckles in agreement while following her inside. I follow after and set her suitcase down in the corner next to the door.

"Yeah, we had a few reasons for that. The first is that this is the testing phase, so we're not sure if you'll be staying or not. The second is that we were limited on space. We only had enough space for ten rooms. We had thought of making them bigger, but we decided against it. But we will have the dormitories built by the time the trial period is over. So you'll be able to move in there once it's over. Oh, and don't worry about the noise. We've added some soundproofing to the walls, so as long as no one starts yelling, you won't hear them. I can't say the same for the construction going on outside though. I'm not sure how loud it gets." Asami says and Irene nods.

"When are the other six people getting here?" Irene asks us.

"One's getting here tomorrow. His name is Marlo. He's a Wyvern Hybrid like Innu. The rest will be here on Friday." I say and she nods.

"Oh, and Irene, do you have any plans for Saturday?" Asami asks and Irene shakes her head no. "Good, we're holding a party then. We were originally holding it to thank the Silver Garden and Blue Lotus Guilds for their help. Larion, the Guildmaster of the Starry Night Guild will also be attending. But now that we're getting new members, we're going to double it as a welcoming party." Asami says causing Irene to go wide-eyed.

"How'd you get Larion to come? I hear he and his Guild are still recovering from the Devil's attacks." Irene asks.

"He joined us when we fought against the Devils. They were helping the Katorg Guild, and we teamed up. He was a big help so we need to thank him too." Asami replies, she can't tell her he's my Gramps since he wants to keep his identity a secret. Irene nods before turning back to the entrance.

"Where are the bathrooms at? And the showers for that matter. I don't see any bathrooms here."

"They're at the end of the hall. One's marked as the mens and the other's the womans. There are three stalls, three sinks, and three showers inside. Both the showers and stalls have dividers for privacy. There's also a shelf in each with a few towels, extra rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, and some body soap." Asami says while stepping out of the room and pointing down the hall. Irene peeks out and looks down.

"Thanks, and not to be rude, but I had a long drive. I'd like to get some rest." Irene says and Asami nods with a smile.

"Of course, we'll get out of your hair. Oh, take this though." Asami says while handing her a card. "It has my number, so if you need anything or have any questions, don't hesitate to call. Also, there's a kitchen down on the second floor, feel free to help yourself if you're hungry. I can give you a tour once you've rested up."

"Welcome to the Guild Irene, I'll see you later." I say as she closes the door. Before she does, I Observe her, curious to see her level.

That's good, her levels higher than I had thought. I assumed she'd be around thirty or in the low forties at best. I think as Asami and I walk back downstairs.

"You were a little stiff back there Master." Asami says as we reach the second floor.

"Yeah, I know. I don't have any experience with this sort of thing." I say causing her to let out a laugh. We get back to the entrance and find the others waiting.

"How was she?" Liz asks upon seeing us return without her.

"She's resting now, she had a long drive. But she seems nice and she's very polite. She also seemed curious about a lot of things, so all in all, she made a good first impression on me." Asami replies.

"She has good endurance, she didn't seem to be affected by the three flights of stairs. Also, I think she and Ramia might get along." I add causing Asami to look at me confused.

"Why do you say that Master?"

"Because like you said, she's curious. If she takes an interest in Ramia's Alchemy and her work, the two will hit it off. It just depends if her curiosity extends to Alchemy." I explain causing her to nod.

"Was she strong?" Luna asks causing me to chuckle. I Observe her so I can give her an accurate answer.

"She's a bit more than half as strong as you." I reply causing her to sigh. Asami disappears to start dinner and I return to my Domain. I go into our bedroom and walk over to my Guildmasters's desk. I'll have to start spending more time in the Guildhall. So I store it and the chair in my inventory before grabbing one of the empty chests we got from the first Ruins. I return to the Guildhall and walk to my Guildmasters's office. I place the desk down in the back center of the room. The doors to the balcony are behind the desk, and I have it facing the entrance. I take the chair out before sitting down. I take out my L-Market Device and start searching for books. I want to find some history books or books about the Lyna world. I told Irene that we held off on getting new members because we were new to the Lyna world, which is true. But I never gave it much thought before. I want to study up, so I know what I need to do from here on out. After all, now that Ayashi, the Katorg Guild, and the Demon God are dealt with. I have no clear goals now. I find the books I'm looking for and am surprised. I find nearly a hundred books about the history of Lyna, Guild politics, and various other aspects of Lyna's life. I buy them all for 1,600$ and a familiar appears through a magic circle with my package.
