Nolan Wells drives them

Bad news, Aubrey and her dad couldn't find the remote for their garage door to open, which meant they couldn't drive the car out of it. "Where'd you put it?" She asked her dad looking up at him.

"I thought you had it last time."

Aubrey realized that by the time they find the garage remote, she would be late on the first day of the last semester and she wasn't going to let that happen. She had an idea though. "What if Nolan drives us in his car?" She gleefully asked with a hint of mischief on her grin.

Aubrey's father froze for a moment as if considering the thought, "Too bad you won't need me there for him to drive you." he sighed.

"We'll just say you're here as a precaution, now come on!" he froze momentarily again, this time it was like the robotic reaction like before, and then followed her out of the garage. Something was up today, Dad loved her but he doesn't robotically obey her commands like that, does he really have it bad? By the time they head out, Nolan was done mowing the lawn and sat down on his lawn chair, he was still shirtless, and his chest lightly glistened with sweat. It is no mystery why her dad had a crush on this hunk, Aubrey would ask him out herself, but she liked the idea of her dad having his fun too. "Nolan!" Aubrey called him out and he looked up with a friendly smile, "I really need to get to school today, can you drive us?"

Nolan looked up to see dad here, "Sure, let me get my shirt first."

"No!" Aubrey surprised herself with that one, and she blushed like a stereotypical school girl with a bad crush on the guy. To her other surprise though, as soon as she said that, he stopped in his tract almost like he was under hypnosis.

"Okay." he responded with a nod and pulled out a key from his shorts pocket, approaching the car shirtless. Aubrey's father tried to keep his stares discreet and nonchalant, she found it somewhat hilarious.

To test her crazy theory that the weird acting done by Nolan and her father had something to do with her, she asked Nolan; "Why don't you strip down naked?"

He laughed in response, "I don't think so, Worthington, do you want me to?" he asked with a playful smirk, the two have been neighbors for some times. Aubrey wondered why that didn't work, and her father looked disappointed. They got on the car with her dad on the shotgun while she sat at the back, pondering her possible discovery.
