"Mom, I've already set him up with Riya. They're both meeting each other tomorrow." Arya says.

"Oh that's wonderful news! She's a good girl. And a nerd like you! I hope you guys hit it off." your mom adds excitedly.

"I hope so too. We'll see." you add.

"So mom...what happened about the company? Did it go public?" your sister asks.

"Yes it did. Our stocks rose by 2000% on the very first day itself! We still have a long way to go though. Enough about me though. Nick...have you decided what you would give her tomorrow?"

"What? What do you mean?" you ask, confused by your mom's question.

"I mean to say, are you going to gift her something, what it being your first date and all?"

Arya does a spit-take and laughs out loud."I can't believe this is your first date! Ha ha ha..."

"Thank you mom for bringing that up. I can always count on you to keep secrets." you say sarcastically.

"Shit...I'm so sorry kiddo...I totally forgot about it."

"Forget it. I know I'm a loser. It's probably a bad idea to go out on a date"

"Heyyy" both your mom and sister say in unison. "You're not a loser son. We will always be proud of you because we know you are a good man."

"Yeah. And don't forget, convincing Riya to go on a date was really hard for me. It would be a real dick move if you didn't show up." your sister adds.

"Okay okay! I get it." you say. You finish up your pizza and head to your bedroom to sleep. You were just about to go to sleep when you hear a knock on the door.

"Come in" you say.

Arya enters the room. You sit upright on your bed and Arya comes and sits beside you.

"Da I just wanna give you a few pointers about Riya when you go out on a date with her tomorrow. Riya happens to be very insecure about her height. Try not to tease her about it. Also while you're at don't try to act all macho in front of her. All of her bad experiences were with guys who did a lot of chest thumping."

"I think I know how to handle myself. You do realize I'm the older brother right? I should be the one giving you these nuggets of wisdom."

"Yeah I know. I don't know....I guess I'm just a little apprehensive that's all. She happens to be one of my closest friends and....."

"I'm gonna stop you right there sis. I won't do anything to fuck up your friendship with Riya. I promise. There. Satisfied now?"

"More or less." She kisses you on the cheek. "Sleep Da. You have a big day tomorrow."

"Yeah yeah....get outta here now." you say with a smile.

Arya leaves the room and you set your alarm for 10:00 am tomorrow and go to sleep.
