Chapter 5 by ErisAphrodite ErisAphrodite

Does her excuse work?

No.

Kylia paused, tipping her head of tawny shoulder-length hair to the side. “Are you sure you're fine, M'lady?” she asked with an unsure stare. “You're shivering.”

Xalendra bit the inside of her lip for a moment to still another shudder. “I am, Kylia. I'm-” She suddenly let out a squeak as her butt was subjected to a sharp pinch. She hurriedly cleared her throat. “-just a bit warm tonight. You can go back to bed.”

Kylia's stare grew curious, though, and she lifted the lantern about to see into the rest of the room. “If you're absolutely certain, Lady Xalendra, then I suppose...”

Xalendra breathed a shuddering gasp as the fairy seemed to work its way to a place she desperately wished it hadn't, and was mortified that it had. “Th-thank you for your concern, Ky,” she said, hoping her handmaiden would leave already so she could do something about the intrusive creature.

Kylia looked at her with her lips pressed together, before bowing at the waist, lantern clutched before her. “Goodnight, my lady.”

As Kylia was bowed, Xalendra felt the fairy begin buzzing again, sending a sudden vibration into her rear. She bit down on her tongue to stay silent, yet her hands reflexively went to her butt to try and stop the damnable fae.

“Um... My lady?” Kylia said, slowly standing straight again, yet staring directly between Xalendra's legs, where a pink light betrayed the activity in her stockings.

Xalendra was infinitely more mortified in that moment, and speechless as she met her handmaiden's bewildered stare with wide blue eyes.
