No Towel

It was time to get out and dry off, Lori turned off the shower and stepped sodden wet onto the bathmat. She felt around for the towel but couldn’t feel it and after she had wiped shampoo out her eyes, she was faced with the first error of the day: she had forgotten to bring a towel. She was standing there, dripping wet and with a dilemma.

In her room most assuredly was the towel, she could quickly get to it and dry herself off. However with the room so cramped, she was likely to get Tree’s stuff wet as well as her own and today she needed Tree happy. If Tree’s too revealing clothes were strewn about (for Tree never cleaned up) then got wet, Tree would be too unhappy to take a bite of her delicious poisoned cupcake. Then Lori would have to think of some other plan to get rid of the nuisance room-mate.

There was an alternative, it wasn’t dignified and it would take a bit of time but it would keep Tree’s knick knacks dry. Lori could air dry, at least till she was dry enough to get back to her room. First she ran her fingers through her hair, wringing out the water bit by bit then running her hands over her body to get rid of excess water, first her shoulders then down over her apples, drying across her thin stomach, through her black curls and down her legs.

Lori was normally someone who could be calm and patient, if she didn’t get something first time then she would come it a second time in a methodical manner, but she had a busy day ahead and she wanted to get moving. She began to shake dry, her arms waving in the air, kicking out her legs, her breasts jiggling as she moved her body about, the more movement the better.

If anyone ever saw this, she would be a laughing stock. Even before taking in the horror of people seeing her in the all together, she knew being seen drying herself in such a silly way would be talked about and spread through the campus, perhaps even to the hospital. She had earned respect from even senior figures for her intelligent, dignity and hard work but she also knew how easy it was to lose it.
