No One Good

Tanya let out a heavy, frustrated breath when she saw who had joined her in the girls’ locker room. Jessica Horath was the head cheerleader, and biggest slut in school. It was no surprise to Tanya to learn that Jessica had designed this year’s cheerleader outfits, which both of them were currently wearing.

Once upon a time, the two had been best friends. Almost inseparable, they did everything together: movies, school, sleepovers; the two were nearly sisters. While both had virtually identical forms, they did have slight differences. Tanya was a few inches taller than Jessica; further, the shorter girl was a blonde with sapphire blue eyes as apposed to Tanya’s red locks and emerald greens. Although the biggest difference was chest size, while the redhead had a rack that was the envy of many young women, Jessica’s was huge! And historically much more accessible, that however, was rapidly changing.

As a little girl, Jessica spent most of her time over at Tanya’s house. Her parents had gone through a very nasty divorce, and the Horath residence was not the most loving environment in the world.

When she was younger, Jessica’s father was rarely around; and he never paid any attention to her when he was. When she was seven the divorce was final, and Jessica never saw her father again. A deadbeat, Mr. Horath didn’t pay child support, and Jessica’s mother had to get a second job to support them. Due to her neglecting father and absentee mother, Jessica developed severe abandonment issues. As a result, in freshmen year when Tanya and her best friend fell for the same guy, Jessica won by giving up her virginity.

Tanya, heartbroken, ended their longtime friendship. When the boy broke up with her a week later, Jessica was devastated. The aftermath for the blonde girl was terrible. She went from sexual partner to sexual partner each one more uncaring than the last. Still upset, Tanya was the first one to call her the “School Bicycle” a name that stuck like glue. Years later, Tanya, completely over the boy whose name she couldn’t even remember, had wanted to mend their friendship. Jessica however, still remembered her best friend’s abandonment and spat in her face.

All of this spelled bad news for the redhead in her current condition. But what made it worse was that after several acts of kindness, which Jessica had completely taken the wrong way, the blonde girl decided that Mark was interested in her. If word had reached Jessica that Tanya was dating “McDreamy” It would be nothing short of catastrophic for her.

With held breath, Tanya regarded the smug face of her one time friend and shuddered.

“I heard a very interesting story from Mr. Gerard today…” The blonde girl began.
