No More Changes to Goth Kate's Mind

Jack decided not to. Sure, he could make her love him. With the remote, it would be easy. But he had a feeling that she might love him anyway, now that she no longer loved the man she was supposed to marry. Though, this was a new reality where she was normally a Goth girl, so she probably wasn't going to get married anyway. He knew that he probably wasn't her type, but with the remote, he could change that. It was strange, perhaps, but he didn't want to **** her to love him. He wanted it to be natural and genuine. Eh, and if it didn't work out the way he wanted, he could just use the remote on her anyway.

So with that, he pressed MC again, making the changes to her mind "permanent". A second later, she dropped out of her trance and blinked a few times, before looking at Jack. "Sorry, I don't know what came over me. I just feel so pissed, like all the time now. I shouldn't be mad at you. If anything, I should be thanking you for getting me out my wedding. My fiancé may have loved me, but I didn't love him. I was only marrying that pathetic loser to appease my parents. But fuck that shit. I should have dumped his ass the moment I met him. And who fucking cares how my parents feel about me? What's it to them if I get married or not? It's my life, not theirs. So thank you for freeing me. I just can't imagine a life with that dickless fuck. If I'm going to get married, it'll be with to someone more my type, ya know? Definitely someone with a spine."

Apparently, whoever her fiancé was, he wasn't the manliest of guys, the way Kate was talking about him. But was Jack any better? Did he really have a good shot with her? What if she rejected him just like her ex-fiancé? Should he use the remote on himself, to make him more like the type of guy Kate desired? Or maybe it was just easier to manipulate Kate's mind again to make her love him, despite it not being genuine, like he wanted. What should Jack do?
