No Deal!

[Jessica's POV]

"That's right. We had a deal. You and I" one of the men says, presumably one of the leaders.

"Come on!" Catherine pleads "she fought on our side!"

"Just be happy that we honor our deal with you, you fucking monster" the man spits.

Jessica's heart sinks. Catherine goes silent, as if she realizes her pleas won't do anything to help Jessica.

"I gave you Elizabeth..." Catherine mutters.

"Catherine. It's okay" Jessica says softly. Maybe this is for the best she thinks sadly. "We won" she says weakly, smiling. I've killed so many people Jessica thinks. So many....

One of the men cuts the binding on one of Catherine's wrists.

"There, you can figure out the rest" he says coldly. "Remember, this is a one-time deal. If we find you again, we'll kill you." The burning hatred in Catherine's eyes is palpable. They better hope that she doesn't find them.

The man nods at the hunter pointing the crossbow at Jessica's at her heart. Jessica feels a blinding pain in her chest, and then nothing.
