Your girlfriend shrugs and wanders to the door, opening it and turning to you. "Alright, well... just come to bed soon, okay? You deserve a night of sleep."

You nod. "Of course, baby. I'm just gonna tidy up in here for a few minutes. You go ahead and lay down. Afterall, last time I checked, you were pregna- Christ, that's weird for someone like me to say. Never thought I'd have ki-"

She puts a finger to her lips. "Stop wittering and hurry up!"

She goes back into the hallway and you can hear her footsteps fade away.
