Spencer sat on the couch with his laptop, exchanging glances with his screen and the front door, hoping to hear the doorbell ring at any moment. As the morning headed towards afternoon, Spencer reached for his phone, ready to type a text out to Jasmine.

'hey Jazzy whats going'

That's when he heard the doorbell ring. Spencer sprung into action and rushed to the door, finding Jasmine standing at the door, grocery bags in hand.

"Hey Spence."

"Hey Jazzy. Come on in."

As the two headed to the kitchen, Spencer asked "A little later than usual?"

"Yeah, slept in." Jasmine shrugged. "Sorry."

"It's cool. So Amber's busy?"

"Yep." Jasmine let out a sigh "No more Jaz sandwiches for you."

"Sure we can come up with something similar."

"Well I do love getting creative in the kitchen."

"So how is she?"

"Nervous, but I think she'll live."

"So you're the optimist of the relationship?"

"Yeah, but I like to think it rubs off."

"What, because you rub her?"

After a giggle, Jasmine said "I'll be sure to tell her that tonight."

"So you still looking for work?"

"Yeah still got the whole cafe thing..."

"You know I had an idea?"

"Yeah?"

"How do you feel about teaching Amy how to cook? I mean she's going to be moving out in a few years, and I think it'd be good for her to be able to take care of herself."

"That's a good idea Spence."

"And, I was also wondering if Amber might be interested in teaching Amy about drawing."

"Uhh..." Jasmine shot Spencer a puzzled look. "Might have to ask her about it."

"Of course. Just a thought."

"So, you hungry Spence?"

"Hmmm..." Spencer looked at Jasmine, as he wondered if he could live with a late lunch to get an early taste of Jasmine.
