New Names

The first step, Elizabeth knew, was to rectify a simple but paperwork-laden problem: after decades on the street, neither Black Jack nor White Jack could even remember their last names. After much work through the local offices, they had new names, albeit uncreative ones: Jack Blackman and Jack Whitman.
