New Moves to Test Out

John was quite happy with what just happened. He kept replaying it over and over again in his head as he headed to biology class with Mr. Stone. While normally John would be in trouble for being late to class, June’s note would ensure that he would be free from trouble. John entered the classroom as Mr. Stone and the rest of the class looked at him. He quickly walked to Mr. Stone, gave him the note, and proceeded to his normal seat.

“Hmm. Fine Mr. Newman, Miss Summers seems to be very thankful for your help cleaning her supply closet real quick,” Mr. Stone handed John a book and went back to teaching the class. This is when John saw the notice over the book:

I mean, I’m not opposed to learning new moves. John thought to himself as he clicked yes. He waited for a few seconds but no window popped up to inform him of the new move he learned. Huh. I figured there’d be a pop up like for the quests and achievements. That’s when John noticed the increasingly bright light blinking at the bottom right of his peripheral vision. It was similar to when someone got a new message on a minimized chat app. I wonder… thought John as he pressed the light. Suddenly his eyes were assaulted as a multitude of pop ups appeared, stacked up on top of each other in order of appearance.

Holy shit! Was the only thing John could think after reading his new ability. His mind raced with all the new possibilities this skill could provide him. He knew exactly what he was gonna use it on first.

And it was all gone. Everything. John panicked as he tried to get his inventory screen to open up, to trigger Observe, to do anything.

“No!” he exclaimed.

“You disagree with cell division Mr. Newman?” inquired the teacher.

“What? Oh uh no. I’m sorry Mr. Stone. I just remembered something I forgot to do for my mother before I left home today,” it was the best lie John could make up with his mind reeling on everything he just lost.

John also got a few pop ups about his Observe leveling up to max, which now allowed him to see all information about a person or object. He tested it out on his fellow classmates and the only real difference was that now he could see their emotions and greater details about them. John did not pay attention to the class because thanks to learning Biology 101 he knew everything the class would teach. Instead he looked over the items he received.

The Leg Splitter: 2H Sword
The sword of Alwrick the Great used to split many-a-foes in two on the battlefield during The Dark Ages. The sight of him fighting caused many ladies to also spread their legs when he came back to the village for a victory celebration.

This gear is great! But why would the sword and gauntlets have strength, intellect, and agility modifiers? Maybe it’s because I haven’t chosen a class yet so it’s covering all the bases? Maybe low level gear just has all the core stats? I’ll have to look at them again when I choose a class. And I got a bonus for 25 libido. I wonder if that means I'll get a bonus at 25 for all my stats? Only one way to find out. For now tho, toggling fertility to off would probably be in everybody's best interest. I love you Asshole Goddess!

John was happy with this gear. He opened his inventory tab, went to his gauntlets, and clicked the transmog button. A dropdown bar appeared and all of his gloves appeared on the list. He quickly realized none of these would work since his gloves were all related to colder weather and it wasn’t quite cold enough for him to walk around in them. That’s when he noticed the option to hide gloves. He clicked that option and equipped the gauntlets with his hands under his desk so nobody could see. To John’s amazement his hands looked completely normal. He touched his hands and they even felt normal. You are so awesome Asshole Goddess! He saw the same for his head slot as well. That’d make things a lot easier since anything but religious headwear wasn’t allowed during school hours.

This just left what would happen if he equipped the sword. Gamer’s Body said it would hide the sword but how? Well there was only one way to find out, so John equipped The Leg Splitter. He felt nothing strange in his chair. He didn’t see anything odd about him from the front. He reached back and that’s when he felt it, a hilt. So the hilt is there for me to grab and I assume as soon as I do that it’ll become visible. That should be useful if someone rushes me tho, I can just quickly grab the hilt and swing down to attack or defend. Satisfied with the outcome of all these achievements and items, John had to figure out what to do for the second half of class. He decided to just rest a bit so he closed his eyes and really didn’t think about anything. John opened his eyes a half hour later startled by the class end bell to three more pop ups.

Yes! I finally got offensive moves! Although nobody’s attacked me since Moira and I don’t think she’ll attack me again. John got up and exited the class, heading towards math class.
