The adventure begins...
The Mountains On High
Far above the decadent city loom the Mountains On High, their rocky summits entering into the clouds above you as the civilized world sits small and distant by the ocean. You walk upon the sky in this place, joined by little more than cold-loving needled trees and the small animals who burrow into them for warmth.
You yourself don't have quite enough of your humble clothes for the trek through this high place. Your firm flesh shivers every now and then as your thoughts inevitably turn to the warm and hospitable land below.
