Chapter 190 by zewesman zewesman

“Damsel in distress is a strong term, I would say,” a female voice said over a loudspeaker in the room, "but not totally inaccurate."

Nazombies!

“I would say I am a strong, independent woman who has hit a series of setbacks in my plans to expand my brand beyond the US,” said a familiar voice to John.

“Sasha? Is that you?!” asked an excited Shelly. A chuckle could be heard over the loudspeaker before a response was made.

“Of course, little sister. I’m glad to see you found some gulli...ahem I mean brave adventurers to help save me and my client!” Sasha said in a quick change of tone. “The doctor and I are trapped in his lab in the sub basement. He refuses to leave unless his, and I quote ‘perfect creation’ is safely removed with him,” explained Sasha. “I can take care of that. My problem is all the Nazis between us and the exit,” she told her sister and rescuers.

“Don’t worry, Sasha, we’ll get you out,” John told her.

“Yeah, sis! If anything, these crazy people have proved that even if they are a bit out there, they can get the job done,” Shelly told her big sister.

“Good. I’m going to send a map to the computer in your room. It should take you straight to us with minimal Nazi patrols. Your friends on the outside are causing quite the ruckus. Too much for them to do a thorough search for you all. So use this time to get here quickly. Not sure how much longer we have. Sasha out,” said the elder sister before she disconnected.

“Alright, we should head out ASAP. We don’t know how much longer the Distraction Group will be able to hold out. We’re almost done with this mission,” John explained to the group. He then turned to the two wild cards that had joined them unexpectedly. “Ladies,” John said in a soft but stern voice. “We are gonna be sneaky. So you know what that means, right?” he asked the two derps, who shook their heads no. “That means it’s time for you two to become ninjas!” John said enthusiastically. He could see their eyes light up as dozens if not hundreds of scenarios flowed through their derpy minds of what them being ninjas could do. “So you gotta be stealthy and not seen, got it?” he asked them. They nearly flung their heads off their bodies with how hard they nodded.

“Do not worry, my king, I shall keep an eye on them,” offered Gali.

“I appreciate it, Gali,” John said to his High Priestess. “Ok, let’s do this!” John declared as he made his way to the door. He slowly opened it and peaked around the hallway. Since he saw nobody in the hall, John signaled to the group that it was all clear and he entered the hallway. He checked the map on his GUI that was instantly downloaded thanks to Gamer’s Mind and clicked the option that allowed for the path to be displayed in the over world. Well, that’ll make it easier to follow John thought to himself as he led his group to the elevator. The group entered the elevator and had to stop the derps from trying to climb on top of the machine in order to “Scout Ahead” as they kept putting it.

“Wait, no! Don’t go up there!” John said as he attempted to stop the rather quick derps as they scurried up on top of the elevator. John let out a sigh as he climbed up after the two wily little derps. Once on the top, he could not help but chuckle a little bit as the two derps ran from side to side, only stopping to look around real quick, and then back to running around.

“sensway, we see no baddies!” reported Mimi as she saluted John, who returned her salute.

“It’s safe for us to move out!” Yaya reported before she jumped back down into the elevator.

“Come on, you too,” John told Mimi who did as she was told and hopped down into Yaya’s arms, but since she was too smol to actually catch her bestest of friends, the two fell to the ground and giggled.

“Girls, I told you to stay by my side, didn’t I?” a stern sounding Gali asked the two young ladies.

“Yes ma’am,” they answered in unison as they looked at the ground.

“You know what this means, don’t you?” asked Gali as she outstretched her hands. Without a word, the derps got to their feet and made their way over to Gali. Once there, each derp grabbed a hand and knew they were basically now chained and collared to the motherly elf leader. She gave them a gentle squeeze so they knew they were not in a lot of trouble but still had to be good. This caused the two to cuddle up next to Gali as she nodded to John.

“Ok, now that we have that settled, we’re about to reach our floor,” John said as he saw the elevator’s floor screen move down to the sub basement level. “Everyone, stay sharp, there may still be Nazis here,” John told his group as he stepped out once the doors opened. There, they saw a sight that was thoroughly unexpected.

A platoon of Nazi zombies stood before them, but they did not act like normal zombies. They all stood in formation, with officers in their proper place and with guns drawn. John glance across the platoon to notice a tall woman who stood at the back, which the zombies did not immediately attack and devour like one would see in any zombie movie or video game.

“You guys stay in the elevator and close the doors. I’ll deal with this,” John said as he readied himself for a fight. He did a quick once over of the woman who stood at the back of the enemy lines. She was a tall woman, whose long legs were hidden in black leggings. A tight, form fitting turtleneck mini bodycon dress that hugged all her curves, which were very generous, with a white lab coat tossed over her dress. She wore black, elbow length fingerless gloves while her fiery red hair cascaded down her body like a powerful lion’s mane. To bring the sexy doctor ensemble all together, she wore square glasses that completed the look.

“Hello, Mr. Newman. You have become quite the thorn in our plans. But do not worry, my babies here will deal with you, won’t you all?” said the sultry voice of the woman who clearly commanded the zombies. They let out a spine chilling howl at the command of their master. John summoned Spinesplitter from his inventory and readied for an attack.

“Oh? You won’t come quietly? That’d make it so much easier. I hate working with slightly damaged goods. But so be it. Get them my lovelies, and try not to damage the subjects too much,” said the woman as the zombies went from in perfect formation to a swarm attack in less than a second surprised John, but he quickly adapted. With a quick use of Control Undead on the front row gave him command of the first wave of zombies, who turned their claw-like hands on their former comrades. The female commander was caught completely by surprise by this situation, who seemed to think nobody could override her command.

“Impossible!” exclaimed the woman. “I have crafted the perfect virus to give me command of any zombies made with it! You should not be able to do that!” Her voice became louder as she got more angry the longer she thought about the situation.

“I don’t blame you for not understanding,” John said as he used **** Strike on any zombies that got past his guard zombies. These zombies could actually take a few hits from a normal weapon swing, which was impressive with John’s enhanced strength. It was clear the necromancy that raised these undead was quite powerful and reinforced their bodies to survive trauma that would destroy a normal zombie. “The power of my necromancy far exceeds yours,” John told the woman, who’s jaw fell at this preposterous notion.

“You must be out of your mind, child! I have spent 20 years crafting my necromancy! I have reached a level of necromancy not seen since the ancient times when it was first practiced!” she said proudly, her ego making sure to explain her genius to the warrior-king.

“Well, you see, there’s where your problem lies,” John said as he prepared his next spell. “You are using the modern form of necromancy, a refined version yes, but still the modern version. I, however, have been granted the power of pure necromancy granted by **** herself,” John said this as he cast Raise Undead on all the zombies he had felled. A dark light shone on each one before the creatures stood back up, ready to fight for John. “Your corrupted **** magic is no match for mine!” John said as he finally charged into the remaining zombie horde. His zombies flanked him, which allowed him to slice through the ones that stood in his way with well some placed **** Strikes to the zombies that stood between him and the woman.

The woman quickly leapt back out of the way of John’s attack. John quickly went into a defensive stance in preparation of the woman’s counterattack but it did not come. Instead, she summoned more zombies to fill in the space between her and John.

“Sorry, Mr. Newman, but it seems that I am at a disadvantage. I do not like it when my experiments go outside my perimeters, so I must abort this one. Once I get my calculations corrected, I will return. After all, you have the secrets of pure necromancy locked away in your body and I must know those secrets to achieve my dreams!” said the woman before she turned and fled down a hall that was not the way they had to go.

“Yeah, that’s totally not ominous at all or anything,” John muttered to himself as he worked with his zombies to clear out the remaining opponents.
