Myada - Second Company

From their recently attacked base, there are three large roads they can access in order to get to the tower. Myada decides to take the center route. In case either First or Third Company get attacked, Myada could decide to change course and assist if necessary.

Since she is a woman who prefers to give herself flexibility, she has placed her vehicles in a checkers-like pattern. At the front are two APC’s driving side by side. Behind them is an Abrams tank with two Humvee’s, One to his left and another to his right. Behind him are another two APC’s. Behind those another Abrams tank, Commanded by Commander Myada herself, and escorted by two Humvee’s. Behind that another two APC’s. Then another Abrams with two Humvees. Finally there are the last two APC’s that round up the caravan.

For troop composition she decided to go for something a bit more standard. The majority of her troops, 70 of them, are **** troops. Each equipped with an **** rifle and two grenades. Due to a lot of the towerlings being melee units she has also opted to take 50 shotgun troops. Also equipped with grenades. Then she took along 20 Light Machine Guns, in case she is in need of a lot of focused firepower. She also brought 20 flamethrower units with her, for when the enemy tries to obstruct her with webbing from those giant spiders or when she is surprised with a new towerling. After that, she also brought 30 snipers, for when they get attacked by enemies high up in the apartments. Lastly she brought along only 10 soldiers equipped with grenade launches. The large amount of damage they cause could result in friendly fire, so she’s not the biggest fan of these weapons. However she is aware the tower could send its own armored units after them. If that happens she’ll be in sore need of explosives. And of course each of her soldiers is mandated to carry a pistol as sidearm.

After fitting as many of her troops into the APC’s, Myada still had 62 soldiers left. For the moment those troops get to take place on the tanks and APC’s. 80 miles is quite a long drive after all. With her column set up, the drive towards the tower begins.

The first 40 miles is easy. This is all reclaimed territory, so there is no serious danger of them meeting any towerlings, unless they launched another invasion.

When they pass 40 miles, they drive past the defensive line surrounding the city closest to the tower. The soldiers guarding it cheer them on but are not able to join Second company in the ****. High command doesn’t want to risk breaking containment for the ****. To which Myada can only wholeheartedly agree.

Between 40 and 20 miles from the tower Second company comes across only a few towerlings and effortlessly takes them down. After all, every towerling they take down now won’t end up taking them in the rear later on. Once they encroach between 20 and 10 miles the frequency of towerlings sightings increases. This is where Myada orders her vehicles to drive more slowly. When they approach the 10 mile mark they are deep in tower territory. Towerlings appear in large numbers here. This is where Myada orders some of her troops to step down from the vehicles.

The snipers get to remain on the tanks and APC’s. Two or three per vehicle. The sole exceptions are Caroline, the least trained among her troops, and Lizette, who needs to provide her with info on the towerlings they come across. The both of them get to stay with Myada on the tank while wielding **** rifles.
The rest are told to spread out and walk along the edges of the road in groups of three. Two **** rifles and one shotgunner per group. Their mission is to check the side streets, alleyways and make a quick check of each building they come across. Making sure the company as a whole doesn’t stumble into a trap.
With a balanced Company like that, Commander Myada feels she’ll be able to safely get her troops to the tower. After all, slow and steady wins the game.

A few miles away, high up in one of the appartments, a white haired woman is looking outside a window. She is dressed in a French maid uniform and stares at Myada’s column.
Behind her stand fifteen silverhaired women. All of them beautiful enough to be supermodels. All of them dressed up in sexy costumes. Half of them with pregnant bellies in various stages of development.
She woman in the maid uniform smirks, turns to the other woman and says, “Allons-y.”
