Ethan decides to go with the theater.
Buying a ticket, Ethan walks inside, glancing around the place. It’s quiet, but for an early afternoon matinee in a town this small, he’s not surprised. He’s got a bit of time before the show, so decides to go all out and buy himself a popcorn and large drink. If he’s going to do this, he might as well do it right.
Walking into the theater, he finds it almost completely empty. Maybe only eight other people in the whole place. Scoping out a good seat, Ethan tries to get as close to the middle of the theater as possible, ending up getting a fairly good spot. Settling in, remembering to turn off his phone, he sips his drink and waits, still having almost ten minutes before show time.
{if Ashley =true}“This seat taken?” A more than familiar voice pulls Ethan’s attention over. He expects to see Charlie, and in the dim theater light he thinks he does for a beat, but the long hair pulled into a ponytail tells him otherwise. It’s Ashley.
“Ah, no...” Obviously, she can sit more or less wherever she wants.
“Thank you,” Ashley takes the seat to Ethan’s left, setting her purse on her lap. “You know between your taste in movies and choice of seating I might have misjudged you.”
“Thank you?” Ethan can tell it’s a compliment, but he gets a little caught up on the ‘misjudged’ part.{endif}
