Enjoy the film

After a few minutes of waiting, the movie starts.

Ethan had seen it before, at some point or another in his life, but still found himself enjoying the experience. Obviously, going to the movie theater by yourself at 2:00 pm is not the most socially impressive activity, but oh well.

One thing Ethan didn't really realize was how long the movie was. While his internal clock was not amazing, he could tell when they were well over the two-hour mark as the plot seemed to be reaching what he recalled to be the climax. His popcorn and drink were long since consumed, and now he just kind of needed to pee.

As the credits roll, Ethan pops up from his seat, making his way to the washroom to relieve himself, switching his phone on and checking the time. Three hours had passed. If the goal was to distract himself and not think for a while then it was mission accomplished. Leaving the washroom, he looks around, a slightly larger crowd in the theater now. Seems midday is more people's speed.

Exiting, he ponders if he should get something to eat. The popcorn from earlier seems to have staved off hunger for now, but his food options at home were starting to run thin. Since he’s in town anyway, he decides to pick up a few things.
