Morning activities

Zack sat with his friends trying to avoid Taylor while at the same time keeping an eye on her, and when he saw her draw Hannah over, he almost had a panic attack. Thinking about the fact that his shenanigans of the night before may have ruined his whole trip, he was surprised to see Hannah look around and when she caught sight of him, smile. That made Zack extremely uneasy, were they planning some sort of ****? Zack was happy when Heather walked up to the three of them on the sofa and pulled him away. “Listen, are we able to put what happened last night behind us and continue our study of those clues together, or should I find someone else?” She asked. Zack could see Brandon and Ashley discreetly leaning slightly towards them, and he knew they heard at least some of what Heather said. He nodded with his head towards the deck leading towards the beach and headed out soon followed by her. “What was that about?” Heather asked looking back in the room they had just come from.

“I didn’t want our conversation over heard, I’d rather what happened stay between those who know currently.” Zack said.

“You realize what you did isn’t a crime right? It’s natural for a young man to make rash decisions when it comes to girls.” Heather explained.

“You know this how? I don’t believe that you’re a psychologist for young men.”

“Not quite a psychologist, but when you’re the subject of bad judgement on the part of young men enough you tend to start making out a pattern.” She said. Zack mentally face palmed himself, he had known Heather enough to know that she usually knew how to spin things in her favor, and he walked right into that one.

“Well, sorry for stirring up bad memories, I guess.” Zack said.

“That’s alright, I forgive you.” She said with a smile and started walking back into the cabin. “Let’s get changed and I’ll meet you back here as soon as you’re ready.” She said as she disappeared. Zack sighed and turned back to the beautiful view of the water lapping off the shore. He turned around and followed Heather back into the cabin.
